my friend recommended this vn to me!! i 100%'ed it on my old laptop (it broke 3) and i found the plot interesting and spooky! a lot of the scares really got me and the art direction is solidly horrific lmao!!! absolutley worth it if you're thinking about getting it

look okay i know at first glance the premise is really odd BUT PLEASE give this game a chance!!!!!!!!! i can't go into details because spoilers but i promise you'll at least probably get a giggle out of it!!!!!!

this game is so silly!!!!!!!!! i love it!!!!!! i love making funny little guys in the makeup section!!!!! i made a whole cast of characters for one playthrough!!!! the possibilities for characters are quite literally only limited by your creativity!!! the story is fun to!!!!! but like the concept of losing your face is kinda terrifying tbh
alriiiight mayyybe i'm easy to please but! this game about games is honestly just so much fun!! i love seeing the ways i can mess about and see new set pieces and story beats! screenshots upon screenshots in my switch library.........

the amount of times i gasped and sobbed and cackled at this game is honestly unmatched by all but a few games. the combat is good fun if a bit grindy at points for me (ESPECIALLY in the casino). the puzzles and side quests are never crazy hard (at least for me!) and the MUSIC! of this soundtrack is gorgeous! i literally can't listen to "duet" without sobbing and "it means everything" gives me literal chills! might replay this game again soon tbh
fun fact about me, i have over 300 hours on this game on steam. this is my ultimate comfort game, as in i play it whenever i'm sad, whenever i'm angry, just to chill out and take a few deep breaths. cove for sure helps with that, i've never played a visual novel with such a caring and sweet love interest. not to mention the oodles of customization and callbacks to previous ingame moments! also the lgbt and neruodivergent rep is literally amazing augh okay i'm done now i swear o(╥﹏╥)o this vn means a lot to me okay.........

god this game......okay so, this was the first game i got on my steam account, right? cause i watched the first episode of a let's play and liked it? this game made me cry SO MUCH!! mae's "i wanna hope again" speech REALLY got to me in a good way. the story is fantastic imo tho the whole plot twist came out of left field. absolutley play this whenever you get the chance, especially if you love character driven games like i do

this game is SO much fun!! my only issue is that i get a ton of connection errors and the sensitivty is wonky for me, tho that could be my settings? either way play this if u can! fun :3
