Oh my God, I get it. Gonna keep it brief because it's Metal Gear Solid, everyone loves it, but wow. I was kind of blown away at how genuinely good this game still is to this day, it kept me gripped storytelling-wise the entire way through, gameplay wise it was still very solid (haha) albeit very aged in some aspects (particularly the shooting). But apart from some weird control scheme decisions, this game is absolutely fantastic, with a gripping story, great characters (Otacon is the GOAT), and impressive details for a game even today (such as unique and interesting completely optional Codec calls). After playing this and finally realizing the hype, I'm extremely excited to check out the rest of the Metal Gear series.
