when i'm in a wasted potential competition and my opponent is half-life 2.

i really enjoyed it when i was younger for some reason, but eight years since my last play of it i can't say, that i enjoyed it as much. i adore use of physics in this game, but core gameplay loop is just bad: shoot thousands of mfs, jump around in a locked room and wait 'till characters finish vomiting story pieces on you. call me an ipad kid, but that's just boring, i'm sorry. (i had a friend explaining to me all of the story elements, it appears to be a lot of plot holes and it's just not very enticing to me)
