this is such a laughable game
The answer arcs are amazing is all i have to say. While it is most definitely not perfect as it has many flaws, the pro outweighs them. Its themes, the characters, they were all brilliant. While the ending could have been way better, the message it gave out was a somewhat decent message. Ch6 and Ch7 were honestly peak writing though, with how we see all the club members unite is a beautiful sight to behold.
Overall, definitely recommended for VN fans. Higurashi is amazing. 9.5/10. 5/5

Azran Legacy is the worst Professor Layton game there is. Its still good, but compared to other Layton games? it falls short. Its such a shame too. the first half of the game was fantastic and i had high hopes. then the latter half comes in, what a mess it was. they literally crammed like 500 plot twists in the last hour of the game and i just couldnt keep up. not only that but they literally focus on solving questions we didnt even ask for rather than solving the main fucking mytsery which is crammed in the final chapter. Honestly, i wish the prequel trilogy didnt exist. AL is a good ending for layton , but UW / LF is way better at giving an proper ending for him.

Laytono Brothers is a decent game. Yes it may be weak compared to other installments, but its still fine.
My main issue with the game is how repetitive it is. Same storyline, same boring investigation outline, and wow what a surprising twist!! this game had a lot of potential with its idea, its just not executed well. But if im being honest, the last 3 cases more than made up for all the flaws.
Overall, id only recommend this if youre really into the layton series. other than that, just skip it. 3.5/5, 7.5/10

the questions arcs are good enough. the chapters were good but nothing peak, ch3 honestly saved this shit. However they do their purpose well, serving multiple questions that seem impossible to solve. overall, an amazing experience

Honestly my least favorite P.L game out of the bunch ive played so far (havent touched azran legacy). Its not bad, i actually found it to be a good, solid installment, the 3D transistion was decent, and the ending and characters were some of the best. its just.. it doesnt feel like a P.L game. chapter 6 is the worst chapter of any pl game, and it tries to be really emotional (at times it works, at other times, not so much) and the mystery was so fucking obvious from the start.

Professor Layton and the Last Specter is worse than the OG trilogy in my opinion. However, that doesnt mean its bad. In fact, its as good as the og trilogy, and at times even better. However, at times the story was genuine shit, the ending was by far the worst of what i played (failed terribly at being emotional) , and the villain was by far the blandest and boring (i heard he gets better in later games) Emmy is amazing though, im looking forward to more of her in MM.

Minagoroshi is a great chapter. It ties all the questions solved nicely, and solves the mystery of hinamizawa greatly. Although, i find ch3 better only because how hopeless it makes you feel. ch7 had a very slow start, and it really did not make me feel sad or hopeless in the moments where it was meant to. loved the ending though

Its okay. Considering its the first game of the franchise, its very lacking. Just play DS, or 7 if you want a good handheld Mario Kart game. 6/10, 3/5

Best Mario Kart. Everything about it is so great. The chaos, inbalance, and maps, are perfect. its exactly what a game like Mario Kart needs.
