(rated 4 stars mostly for enjoyment) play piggy

at the surface i thought this was a "oh look!! a free anime game that looks promising" and it was that but... ehhh

this does have an interesting story but its nothing unique. weve seen worlds ruled by a legion of gods and have multiple elements. its a pretty typical fantasy game.

the gameplay is very simple and fun, and i like the characters.. oh boy the characters

its far from awful or even legitimately bad but the abhorrent gacha mechanics and the grindy ness.. you feel complied to play this every day and it does get exhausting

i like this game but i feel like im not gonna be there till the end. im not gonna stick around for 10 years when khaenriah comes out

id just recommend not being a super hardcore player and spending little to no amount of money. you're gonna save yourself a lot of unnecessary stress and potential finance issues

edit 2/6/2023 i seriously doubt anyone is gonna read this but im putting my thoughts here once again .

a lot of my thoughts still stand . if u want an anime rpg open world game i promise there are better options

this game completely sucked my soul and i hated it . got into it in may 2021 and left oct 2022 havent looked back .

the story and art style are very intriguing but the gameplay is not it. waste of 30 dollars.

not horrible by any means, i would recommending looking into this game (or the whole series) before getting this.

also why did they design etna like that.... gros.

havent touched this in legitimate years but i love it a ton. i love the islands / segments (??)

character designs ranged from being very interesting to looking like something out of a multi-million dollar fantasy game.

Lots of good memories tied to this, a lot of fun and love the game play!

I have a lot of nostalgia tied to this, especially since I played it when I was 9 and play it every so often. I really loved how they updated the game over the years, one example being how the firesaur and treezard monsters where updated. It's not very innovative when it comes to updating the new event monsters (idk what they were called but i think u get what I mean) and i liked the little snippets of story linked between some of the monsters.
I think this is pretty fire for a mobile game, coming from someone who isn't a hardcore gamer and mostly likes mobile games :P

The controls and the movements of the astronaut were kind of.... janky? But honestly what can you do. Played 2 bond with some friends and I liked it. The graphics were kind of odd but I'm probably biased since I'm an artist and kind of critical when it comes to things like that but it's not too big of an issue tbh

The swap function in hindsight is kind of dumb but creative at the same time. Story was actually quite okay! Love the maps. The skylanders themselves were kind of odd design-wise but a few were still very memorable!
