Played as part of Atari 50.

It's Centipede. Again. After the very mild improvements that the Millipede games brought like the DDT bombs, it's really hard to give much leeway to a version of the game without them.

You know, I see Atari releasing the same 3 simple arcade games for every console, over and over again, and it's really easy to see why they crashed so hard, lol.

Playing Through My Evercade Collection Part 5: Atari Vol 2

Another pretty fun Atari arcade conversion for the 7800 and one that's about as close to the Arcade original as you can get, minus some of the Arcade versions more Arcadey money grabbing difficulty bits. Its fast, frantic and nice basic fun.

I will say that by this year, Atari has now put out multiple versions of the same game over and over and I sort of get why people basically looked at this and went 'Whats the point', it doesn't make the game any less fun but Atari really should have been doing something better at this point.

It's the accurate version of centipede for home consoles in terms of the arcade game... but again, it's centipede, it's fun but I'm not going to praise them for making another centipede game. Fun game, but the amount of centipede I played in Atari 50 is annoying with how many versions they have. Still it's fine for what it is, and it's accurate, so it's good.

Yep ... it's CENTIPEDE! Finally more or less arcade-accurate at home, but it's deranged that Atari put this out in 1986 for their new system. I get playing the hits, but come on. Super M.F. Mario exists at this point, guys.
