I love a good adventure with collectibles. Great story and I cant wait to see it line up more in the SW series. Gave me Zelda Botw/TotK vibes but SW and that easily did it for me :3.
one of the BEST in the genre. game had no business being this good. I'm not someone who like starwars but the characters and world within JFO sucked me in

This my third playthrough of fallen order, every time I've played it I find more things to appreciate. This game is essentially of mixture of uncharted exploration and tight souls inspired combat with a CLEAN star wars paint job on top of it. This recipe makes for a pretty solid game. Of all star wars games that I have played, this one is probably my favorite with force unleashed close behind. I only replayed it this time because I had just picked up the sequel and wanted the story fresh in my mind before starting it. Cal Kestis is a great protagonist and has very unique traits that make him stand as an awesome original character in this massive franchise. The only thing that I think is wrong with this game is it has quite a few graphical bugs and while that isnt the worst thing ever, it does get pretty distracting. Also for some reason, BD-1s stims sometimes just don't heal you even though you hear the audio queue of the character asking for one and this fucked up my experience fighting the final boss multiple times. The story isn't incredible or anything, it's perfectly fine, although there are a few sequences and story beats that are jaw dropping. Also with a lot of star wars media I find that they are usually riddled with fan service whereas this game only really nostalgia baits you by throwing Darth Vader in at the very end. Speaking of the ending, I do think it is good story wise for Cal to destroy the holocron, it adds a lot of depth to his and Cere's goals. I give this game a solid 4 oiled up Trillas out 5.
