The best Angry Birds game, and one of the best mobile games. They took a simple game, added another layer of strategy with the anti-gravity mechnic, and did so much with said gimmick, adding occasional new gimmicks to keep the experience fresh. This game (I think?) also introduces boss battles to the series, and they're surprisingly well-designed. There's multiple different strategies to beating each one, which is nice.

Angry Birds Space is a gem of a game that I'm sad they removed from digital storefronts. It's also sad how Ice Bird is only usable here.

I think taking Angry birds and adding a new gymic to make it different can both work, but also not work. I think for what it's worth Angry BIrds Space use the gravity of planets and space in order to make contacts with the pigs easier. It's really cool using the rotation of gravity in order to compete your objective of getting rid of the pigs.

The game features variants of the birds with each having unique abilities compared to their regular counter parts:

- Super Red (Space Red Bird but wars a superhero mask with glowing eyes) - has a radar ability

- Lazer Bird [Yes Lazer in this case is spelt incorrectly on purpose] (Space Yellow but instead of Yellow, it's color is purple and wears a visor like Cyclops from XMEN)- has ability to lock on to target.

-Lighting Bird (Small Blue Bird Triplets except here they wear head gear similar to that of the FLASH from DC)- Same ability as regular blue birds, where they split into 3 separate birds.

- Space Bomb (Black Bomb Bird that wears a cape) - Same as the regular bomb birds, it explodes.

- Cosmic Bubbles (Orange bird with Cowl and antenna on top of it's head) - Similar to regular orange bird, it increases it's size when you tap on the screen to become giant.

- The Incredible Terrance (Big Red bird but now he's Green like the Hulk) - Has the ability to knock momentum objects into the gravitational area of where the pigs are located in to deal massive damage.

- Wingman (Big Red Bird but wears a mask with a W on it, the Space version has Terrance's Green Color with white eyes instead of his Regular Pupils) - Uses a gravitational field in order to suck in objects and pigs to him for a small period of time causing a lot of damage.

- Ice Bird (Exclusive Bird to this game, and appeared in Cameo roles in other Angry Birds game)- When making contact with the ground, when you tap the screen, ice explodes covering the area in the vicinity to be covered in ice on the area landed on.

The story is about the birds attempting to stop King Pigs and his pigs from stealing Eggsteroids. The final boss is essentially a Giant Pig with 3 eyes called the Alien pig.

The game is a fun spinoff of Angry Birds that sadly was delisted/discontinued on February 3rd, 2020.
