Played the stand up cabinet at Galloping Ghost arcade in Chicago. Generally speaking I don't care for stand up cabinets for racing games. It just feels weird and my foot loses the pedals so I end up just never braking which isn't great for this one. Its still fun though. Probably the biggest complaint was they had the sound turned down too low so I couldn't hear the amazing DAYTONAAAA enticing me to play more. But if you want one of the best 3D racing games of the era this will fit the bill just try to seek out the sit down version.

This game gives me so much positive vibes in how it utilizes its aesthetic and cool soundtrack that it motivates me to keep playing and getting better at it. Sega Arcade experience at its finest.

If only this had waited for the 3DFX or MMX chips, we could've had a near arcade perfect port, what we get instead is a copy and paste Saturn port.

I understand the hype behind this one - while it's a bit more challenging than Outrun 2 or R4, it is super satisfying to overtake dozens of cars within the limited time given. I never won in the arcade version - maybe someday I won't be filtered.

Not a generous score for such a legendary game, but I'm not good at it, and didn't have fun in any of my attempts. I'm glad I got it before Xbox removed the 360 version from the store.
