Masterpiece, peak fiction, "bath time" is the greatest melody in existence and mozart would be fucking livid with jealously if he could hear it, gameplay so effortless in it's mastery it's safe to say interactive media will peak here for all eternity, a paragon in narrative writing that perfectly deconstructs the hero's journey so ingenuously.
Play this game if you haven't it's incredible, I haven't played the sequel nintendogs + cats but if it's anything like this good god.

I found a Nintendogs cartridge down the back of a booth couch in a Pizza Hut and was instantly smitten with the previous owner's puppy. I looked after him for about two years before getting a Wii and forgetting about my DS games.
Anyway the game is fun but lacks content unless you manage to find rare items like the RC Helicopter or Mario Go-Kart. Nowadays there simply are similar and better games.

i used to have my nintendogs take part in fashion shows, in which I would play Colonel Bogey to make them march round in a circle and then i'd switch out their hats and glasses and collars until either i'd exhausted every accessory i owned or the music came to an end
i also used to lull them to sleep with the Naptime record, only to then terrify the living daylights out of them by following up with the Surprise record - because i was a cruel and merciless child and the nintendogs were my poor and abused playthings - but that's neither here nor there
