I am not even sure if I owned this one. But i had the lobster toy so here it is.
Skylander Trap Team wasn't the greatest game in the franchise but, I had a great time. I thought capturing villains was a good idea I was kinda expecting more capturing villains in the game, not including the expansion level and, I never really got to play as the other Trap Team Skylanders only 3 and, I thought their move sets were pretty good snapshot was my baby he a level 20 and, food fight and torch were okay I don't remember much of torch but, food fight was good I mostly use Snapshot because I thought he was cool and, stuff so yeah and, the capturing villains were kind of forgettable except for the doom Raider is get the story was okay nothing special also the Nintendo 3DS one there nothing too terribly special so yeah it's a-okay game
Good game but compared to the ones before, it's under whelming. The trap masters are fun to play but they make all the other skylanders useless. Makes me regret having my mom spent thousands of bucks on the old skylnaders. Villains are fun too but why paly any of them besides Kaos. He literally solos the game.
A good game, but a pretty weak Skylanders game thanks to a mediocre mechanic and bugs.
The trap gimmick is kinda cool but this is definitely when the series started to become too generic and lose its touch
performance on the Wii started to chug noticeably even to my 11 year old self and it was getting pretty stale altogether. in terms of gameplay though i think this one was the best. the haters will kill me but i know im right

Becoming the villains was the best mechanic they had. Fun levels.
this was the point where i realized i was too old for skylanders and quit halfway through this one because i was just so damn bored. i gotta sell all these hunks of plastic that have been sitting in a bin for several years now
Favorite game in the series. This was the last one I played before I realized that Skylanders and toys to life was a sinking ship. This one has my favorite gimmick and I practically had all the bonus levels and traps. I still have the villain jingles stuck in my head to this day.

One of the weaker Skylander games on the 3DS. Instead of using the physical traps, the game has you use the bottom screen of the 3DS to catch villains exclusive to this version. You can't even play as them which is just makes the gimmick less exciting.
I liked the skylander design in this one, and the levels were pretty off the wall at times (especially Future and the Zeppelin one) but I think this is the only game in the series that really feels incomplete without all of the traps. From what i recall, after every boss fight the game prompted you to trap them, and if you didn't buy the thing, then, rough I guess. From what I recall these guys also corresponded to unique areas, meaning that a good portion of the game was just inaccessible. And the worst part was that when you did trap the dudes, they were incredibly boring to use. They had designs reminiscent of the basic enemies with an element attached to them or were INCREDIBLY dumb. Like who tf cares about "cross crow"? And usually when you did get ahold of them they were extremely basic, and you couldn't even upgrade them like normal skylanders.

Didn't bring much new to the table at all, but overall managed to be a pretty damn polished and fun adventure that helped stave off franchise stagnation just a little bit longer.
Most levels had way too many side objectives which made it super monotonous to play through at many points.There are also a lot of game breaking bugs which basically forced me to restart entire levels
You think this is bad? No. You are the most wrong person alive. This game is the backbone of my life. I would love this game more than a first born child. If i could give 1000 stars i could.

The villian mechanic was cool but having 2 types of 'special' skylanders (the dudes with the glass weapons and the traps) meant it was more expensive to have both and i feel limiting the villians by their elements was a miss
