This game is a little unique. Its not much a game, but more like a "simulator" I bought this game nearly 4 years ago, and compared to what I remember, its way bigger. I played on "Birthday Mode", mostlky because I am a pussy, but because i wanted to experience everything without issue. This game was an experience for sure, its very unpolished in some areas, but it sought out for what it needed to do. I recognized many of the arcade games, and each of the 4 locations had atleast one unique game to play.
I enojyed my time with it alot, and the arcade games seemed to rely on skill more than their in real life counterparts, which is nice. There were also minigames like Mini Golf, and Racing, which I liked, but were again, very unpolished. The gameplay is fine, theres not much to say, but I would give it a much higher score once the game has a more distinct style, and less rough edges. Good time to chill, though.

Pretty accurate arcade sim and its really chill.
As someone who went through a good few dozen arcades as a kid, this is a nice recreation of the experience, and I might score it higher whenever the multiplayer comes out.
Can you ever really complete a game like this? Yeah let's just say you can. I still keep coming back to it to play some good ol' cranegame every so often.

This game is janky as fuck. But it's super fun. For a one-man dev team, it's a really fun experience. A few technical issues, especially the inability to turn down some sound effects, still haven't been fixed, but the game improves with each major update.

It's really, really good. My only gripe is that's only single player. A game like this has no reason not to have a second player option tbh
Starting the game I found the menu to be confusing. I only played the birthday mode, where your given $200 and allowed to play whatever you want? Im not sure, there was a lack of direction and found myself very confused when starting the game.
I will say its a great way to play those addicting arcade machines, like skee ball and coin pusher, without spending real money.

(Review is from the time of the Winter 2021 content update) Game seriously might be the most addictive game I've played. It's relaxing but it's easy to just chill and play some arcade games. The physics can be an issue in some cabinets but there's overall so much fun. I have around 170 hours so far, totally would reccomend.
I might have to delete this soon as I can feel myself becoming horribly addicted to Dunko.
Comfy as hell and regularly getting updates. I've been wanting a game like this for a long time and it definitely delivers.

This is a passion project with as much love as skill and I can't say enough good things about this game. Love arcade games and I love janky games, not bad and kind of boring after you figure out how to get ez infinite money on Stacker by day 4. Still great tho
I saw the twitch streamer Dougdoug play this against another twitch streamer and it honestly captured the feeling of arcade games and carnival rides perfectly. From the terrible crane game grip strength to the absurd rng, it truly captured the arcade feel. Good with friends if you are on a budget and can't go out with them to an actual arcade.
5 stars is the only rating I can imagine giving a game that nails everything it wants to do with such breadth, and I'm pretty sure it's just one dude making this thing. I come back to this every update, and it's such a treat. It perfectly captures the nostalgia of being a kid in an arcade. Any kind of arcade, from carnival games to a gas station arcade cabinet, is on display here, and the whole game is wrapped in a comical kid-friendly Westworld aesthetic.
Travelling in the overworld is not that interesting and kind of slow, but the arcades sure make up for it.

I’ve seen this on some different streams and been tempted to play it. I think a gallery of arcade games is an awesome thing, and I like being able to play some form of them without draining my wallet.
I also like the survival and collection aspects. Banal but fun in their own way. Wish there were even more games though, and more types. But it’s still being worked on and I think it’s a lot of fun. Workshop support would also be welcome.

Fun concept and atmosphere, The Coin Game is really good to come on and mess around for an hour or two while bored. However the lack of any real purpose to getting tickets and prizes, as well as the games getting old pretty fast definitely hurts the game, but the game is regularly updated and is definitely a fun time.

The Coin Game feels like a dream I've had. Some uncanny place I visited in my thoughts and can't shake. But it's real. The Coin Game has me in a trance. I've spent hours in "Islandville" at the various arcades, pedestrian hang outs and the grimy pawn shop that's filled with robot loiterers outside. Robot loiterers desperate to shake me down for my tickets. They want my plush but they can't have MY plush. I keep the rubber band revolver on my waist at all times. Try me. Try Me.
I haven't even played any of the actual games yet as I got distracted walking around. The world is legitimately THAT interesting to me.
The Coin Game fills a much-needed void that I never knew needed to be filled. If you're looking for the tantalizing and fantastical feeling of winning a shit ton of tickets at your local kid's arcade and pizzeria joint, this is the game to cost you hours of your life. It's incredibly silly to describe the adrenaline of watching the coins fall in a coin pusher or aligning the red square tower to get worthless prizes, but no game out there simulates these machines as well as this game. Even outside of those moments, exploring the locales and stores is surprisingly immersive. At the time of writing this, this is still on Early Access, constantly being updated with fixes and new content. This means what you're experiencing is not in a finished (nor optimized) state, so a lot of hiccups are to be expected that will take you out of the immersion.
