On one hand, child me loved the fact that Barbie is in an action game. On the other hand, this is a blatant rip off of Tomb Raider. It's like... Tomb Raider Junior. But bad.

I remember this game from my childhood and surprisingly had a decent time, I think I got to the very last level but don't remember beating it. I played it on PC, and it was likely an obscure native port that was bundled with the other barbie game I remember fondly. But trying the PlayStation version, the physics and controls were pretty bad. I didn't feel like playing very far as it didn't leave a good impression, which is kinda surprising, since, once again, I remember having a decent time with the game. Maybe if I revisit this game and beat it I'll have a better appreciation for it, but I don't have much hope (and if I find that PC version for comparison).

This is surely the worst rip off of any plataformer because the controls are so bad. Literally i can´t trust this game in anytime since the jump is so stupid. The levels are BORING (i can´t believe I did 2 videos on my channel about this). Poor speedrunners and more milking for Barbie because yeah Crash bandicoot is success so Barbie ez sucess no it´s a garbage toilet game.

A guilty pleasure, but technically a piece of garbage. It's funny to force a friend to play, but it's a terrible game.

Barbie has always been a girl-boss, but now she is a girl-boss à la Indiana Jones and Lara Croft. Barbie shows off her skills by jumping straight into a pit of spikes, getting ran over by mountain goats, and taking a monkey paw to the face (symbolism)! Barbie: Explorer is a broken game for broken people who desire to live out a girl-boss fantasy.
Classic from my childhood. Probably needed more depth or story, it was a little forgettable in the latter department.
