One of my favorite racing games ever, and easily the best Burnout game. The sense of speed and exhilaration is just unmatched, and the soundtrack is pure cringy early 2000s bliss. Then there's the mind-boggingly ingenious "traffic checking" feature, which single-handedly ruined every other racing game for me, as well as driving in real life. People who say they prefer Burnout 3: Takedown are hipsters. (Don't get me started on Paradise and its ill-fitting open world.)

Pra quem jogou jogos anteriores da franquia, Revenge não evolui muito em relação aos anteriores, trazendo poucas novidades, uma trilha sonora diferente e uma sensação de iteração aos moldes de FIFA, igual ao seu antecessor.

Primeiro jogo fechado no ano. Em 2023 pretendo fechar os Burnout's que ainda não joguei. Decidi começar por esse pois alguns inscritos o elogiaram muito num certo vídeo que fiz. Bom jogo para sua época, envelheceu muito bem visualmente, os controles são rápidos e as batidas divertidíssimas de serem feitas. Me surpreendi pela variedade de cenários e o modo Eliminator. Tem tudo que um Burnout precisa ter, mas ainda prefiro o Takedown.

Takedown was a tough act to follow. Revenge was a more than worthy successor.

At 60 FPS Burnout truly feels wonderful on the 360, or more preferably, backwards compatible on Xbox Series consoles. Once you play it in 60 FPS, the 30 FPS and silent, long load times of the PS2 and Xbox version just feel like mere facsimiles. In terms of gameplay, another level of Burnout's patented fast and furious racing style - with an added urban grunge and harder, edgier slant in the soundtrack that works wonderfully.
