Capcom vs. SNK 2 is a fantastic game, but this GameCube port, while not inherently awful, is borderline unplayable due to the GameCube controller itself which was great for a lot of genres, but not for 2D fighters. The EO means Capcom introduced mechanics to make special moves easy to pull off to compensate, which frankly ruin the fun.

Pros: if you're on a Wii you can run this through nintendon't and plug in an arcade stick through the USB port.
Cons: nobody plays this version because of a single universal nerf.

One of my favorite crossover fighting games of all time. Great ample rosters featuring Capcom and SNK favorites, good backgrounds and soundtrack, and overall great classic fighting mechanics. Not sure how, but I survived playing this game on a tiny GameCube d-pad. The EO mode allows players to use special abilities with simple commands and stick shortcuts so there is an added element of accessibility for this game.

THis game also initiated my appreciation for Rock Howard, he's very fun to use in this game.

A much worse version of the game. EO, more like, bad game.

It's alright, though I'd recommend getting any other version if you can (mainly the Dreamcast version) cause the Gamecube controller is horrible for a game like this
