Darkwatch is a unique and virtually unheard-of shooter on the PS2 and Xbox.
I love how Darkwatch doesn't waste any time, you're dropped straight into the action from the moment you start up a new game. What I love most though and is the whole reason I was drawn to Darkwatch to start with is it's cool mashup of vampires and the wild west. Not just the setting but the visuals in general, they hold up really well.
My only complaint would be it is a bit awkward to play with a controller. Once you get past this you've got a fun little shooter. I'd argue it is another example of an underrated gem in the huge PS2/Xbox library.

An awesome mashup of horror and the wild west, what's not to love? Solid combat, morality system that unlocks vampiric abilities and two different endings. It sinks a bit in the middle, but thankfully it picks up right after this.

Like if Blood came out after The Matrix. You're a badass coolguy who's the special cursed one in a long trench coat with a cool hat and steel boots, you've got guns that double as melee weapons, there's a morality system that can give you chain lightning, you have to fuck this one evil goth lady in an on-screen sex scene, and yes - you can double jump. Darkwatch is the kind of decent game with some neat ideas and fun design that people who made red and black MLP OCs who's special talent was bleeding would think is sick as fuck. and they'd be right.
