Doom eternal is a game of constant and intense action, which has remnants of gameplay that comes from Doom 1993, with a story that leaves nothing to be desired and balanced bosses and enemies, it has collectibles that make you want to pick up and hidden "phases" of the franchise's old games

Regarding the difficulty mode of this game, I played on hard and I believed it wasn't that difficult, besides getting a little stuck on bosses.
It's a good FPS game where we kill demons with punches

Great fun, good story for this kind of game, ancient gods was alright, just more fun levels.

One of the only single player games that made me sweaty.

One of my favorite FPS games ever, insanely tight and fun combat mechanics. The skill ceiling is huge and you can tell you’re improving when you play it. banger

This game gameplay wise is much better than doom 2016, more dynamic arenas and metroid prime style platforming breaks do a lot to help mitigate the repetive nature of 2016, the game largely kinda gets hurt by the honestly terrible story which feels like it was written by the kinda guy who tries to make jokes in the comments section in doom 2016 music uploads on youtube.

Exhibit A for why there are right and wrong ways to play games. It's an FPS with the depth of a character action game, and they've achieved that by forcing you to play in the most fun way possible - jumping and dashing around like a maniac while switching weapons and using all your abilities all the time. It's the only game I've ever played where I can't do more than one or two levels at a time, because it's too intense and I get tired from playing it.

If you're wondering if this game is good, yes.
Absolutely yes. I've bought it on every platform I own and oh boy... this has to be the best game I've ever played in my life until now, I've beaten the base game in UN, both DLCs in UN, master levels, you name it. Imagine if God made "air 2", it would be Doom Eternal. unlike Doom 2016, the enemied are based on the classic games, so are the weapons, forcing you to play with almost every weapon and weapon modifiers, its challenging to the average gamer, you need to keep moving and managing your ammo and watching out for a deadly strikw upon you, when you THINK you got it, there comed one particular enemy that forces you to play on their pace, not yours, THE MARAUDER, see, the marauder gets most people mad at first cuz he forces you to do things at his will, not yours, not a big deal if you are a true slayer though, the game is an absolute masterpiece and IMO everyone should try it!

Doom Eternal, but with the DLCs.

The farthest I could go with my experience with doom is doom 2016 and now doom eternal. Doom eternal improves everything that 2016 had. The pace is fast, the enemies plenty, and the arenas tough. There is such a variety from how you want to build your slayer and there also are ways to make combat easier. for example, you throw a grenade inside the mouth of the cacodemon and all you need to do is glory kill it then after glory killing it if there is a pinky or a specter you can use the blood punch to one hit ko them. Most of the arenas are done in a way that lets you fly around and take on demons in whatever order you wish. The game is challenging so if you are playing this game you have to take time to understand the tools you have to go through and I love that, this gives a form of affinity between me and the game. This would give me the motivation needed to play through the game and try out it's other offerings like horde mode, ripatorium, and master levels all of which let's you master the game. The collectibles gives you anything you can ask for like the story of the game, the history of the developers and the game, and other neat little things like the toys for each demon in the game. The only thing I have as a complaint is the final boss, goodness that took too long for even a final boss battle and the health system they have for the boss didn't translate well with my enjoyment. Overall great game with a few flaws here and there but other then the final boss, the flaws can be overlooked.

I will be playing the DLC later and giving my thoughts on that later.
