Light but still interesting economy system, innovative fleet combat, and diverse factions.

Game is unironically whack, somehow a huge step-down from Endless Space 1. I hate the internal democracy system.

I love Endless Space, I wish they made a video game about it.

It's basically just Stellaris: if you like that game, you'll like this.

A unique entry into the 4X realm. Have a very interesting lore although a lot of it gets muddled in hidden and missable quests.

i bought this game because of a sseth video and holy shit i'm so bad at it. i do like the funny aliens though. i streamed this on twitch a little bit and got some advice from random people because you really need to look things up to make it in this game. not sure if it's more fun than civ v, but it's in space and that's gotta count for something

fun 4x game with high variance, widely different strategies, good depth, and surprisingly good AI.

One of those games where I'm up until 6am without noticing.

what if civ was fun and cool

Made me understand why people like 4X games so much. The amount to which you can zoom in and out in this big tactical simulation of a space world war is genuinely breathtaking, and the game has this great sense of humor and wonder in equal measure to propel the whole thing forward with its tongue in its cheek just enough.

The most beautiful game ever made

If you ever needed a good scifi 4x game to spend an entire afternoon on to win one game. Here you go

This game is simply amazing, it only has one problem called Umbral Choir.

The only game I've played with a truly satisfying "tank the economy" mechanic, A+

"You can either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain."

This infamous quote came from the developers of Endless Space 2 after they saw me play their game twice. No matter what I do, no matter what I say I'll play as. Ultimately it boils down to me rushing to unlock Corecrackers and Obliterators to go on a system cremating crusade across the galaxy in an unending quest to dominate the cosmos. This game teaches a valuable lesson in morality, integrity and the futility of fighting your own nature. The feeling of your friends discovering and tracing back a long path of obliterated planets to your territory, truly is "peak" as some would say and the cutscene of a planet blowing up never gets less entertaining.

Through this game, I have proudly taken up my seat alongside other galactic tyrants such as Sheev. And perhaps I have even become the worst of them all. Only time will tell.

A decent enough sci-fi Civ-like, I felt kind of overwhelmed with the number of systems in place over my 2 playthroughs. So much is outside your control when it comes to whether you'll be successful or not. I'm sure there's a deeper rewarding game underneath this, but I just don't care to put any more time into it at the moment. I will say the lore, art, and UI is all uniformly great.

Bah c'est super avec la simple existence de la frappe orbitale pour faire chier les autres, donc le jeu au complet c'est excellent.

Puede no ser el mejor juego de estrategia, pero fue el que me hizo empezar a amarlos

Early and mid game is fun but late game is just pain

Unironically the greatest strategy game I've ever played. I still remember that free weekend it held in 2017 where I got so immersed I managed to log 30 hours in a single weekend. There's just so much you can sink your teeth into and every time I come back to it I'm reminded why I love it so much.

Could never get too into this one. Definitely unique, the universe is cool.

Possibly my favorite game of all time, and definitely my favorite world and lore. I love the 4x genre, having logged nearly 1000 hours of Civ V, but ES2 really takes the cake for me. 10/10, I recommend it to every person I meet.

oh god , i am small brained forgive me for i have sinned

Está bien, pero lo siento, los juegos de aliens sólo me valen si esos aliens son romanceables

The bad: This game still had the Amplitude trademark desynchronization problems in multiplayer.

The good: Basically everything else.

I dont like the UI and Music. Would rather play Civ 6 or Stellaris.

Play if you like the genre, excellent game.
