Jogo de infância , lembro de ser divertido.

theres no option under platform for how i played this which is with the excitebike nes furniture in animal crossing on gamecube

One of the greatest NES games that isn't a series title like Mario and Zelda. It is fun to race and I always enjoy popping wheelies and just having fun with it without having to race so intensely. I also like how well this game has been appreciated in recent years with it getting a Mario Kart track.

NES Week: Day #5

Welp, we’re now on day 5, and what better game to have for day 5 than Excitebike? Overall this is probably the one game I have very little to talk about. Probably a bit more than the sports games but really I have barely anything to say about Excitebike.

You’re a motorcyclist in a competition and that’s kinda it. In the game you go over ramps and hope to god you crash. There are arrows on the ground to help you speed up and that’s really kind of it. Some of the fun comes In when you have to drive alongside other racers. Idk why but I find it a little more stressful and keeps me on my toes a lot more than the normal mode. There’s also a neat little track designer which is kind of an underrated feature of the game. I mean I can understand why cause like…you can’t save it. At least on the original NES.

Ramps, some of the other racers can be bitches, please don’t crash ;-;

I mean... it's motorcross. Do you like motorcross? I REALLY like motorcross. Motorcross is awesome, he is so cool, and he's even friendly too. In fact, he even helped me get back with tennis and baseball, and we are all friends again, with tennis and baseball still dating, so I would say that everything is turning out ok. Although, I haven't heard from my dad in a while, I wonder how he is doing.

Game #75

If I played this as an 8 year old in 1984 I would have lost my shit.

Excitebike is a side-scrolling released as an NES launch title in North America. This is part of the Excite series that has received several entries, and this game in particular is referenced in numerous games and has seen many re-released on Nintendo consoles via Virtual Console or Nintendo Switch Online, and it has its fans; I'm not one of them

The game has two modes. First is the racing part under Selections A and B. Selection A has five race courses that you must beat the times for to move on to the next track. The objective is to get third place or higher, and any position besides that will result in a game over. Selection B has the same courses as A, but with computer players. The tracks themselves are decently designed and can be fun for a little bit, but the problem is, I don't even know if I'm playing it correctly

The courses are similar to what you see in a motocross stadium, with giant ramps, mud pits, and platforms you get up top are all here. To move, you accelerate with the A button; the B button activates a turbo boost that enhances the bike's speed, but will overheat if it's used for too long. When in the air, landing squarely on both wheels will maintain momentum, but landing unevenly will result in a crash

Now let's get on to the reasoning why I'm not a big fan of this game; it's infuriating and not really fun to play. So when I crash by landing unevenly or didn't pass through the small ramps at the time, it takes forever for the racer to get back on his feet losing so much time, and the same can be said when paying with the CPUs. They are a nuisance to play against whenever I'm behind the biker and touch them, this also results in a crash. I watch a few longplay videos and see how they get through hurdles with minimal crashes, and whenever I do try these tricks out, I fumble it up. I couldn't beat some of these courses without save states, and maybe I can get through them without it, but I was just ready to be done with it

There's also the Design Mode where you can customize your racetrack. I didn’t get much use out of it, and I only made one course, but I guess for 1984-1985 standards, it was probably cool back then, and that's all I have to say for this mode

Excitebike is not my favorite NES launch title. The game is more aggravating than fun, and it probably can be if I was better at the game, but after I cleaned the courses, I was ready to move on

Hours of fun designing your own tracks, only to get lost in oblivion since the western version of the game did not have any kind of saving mechanism - the Japanese game was released on the Famicom Disk System, which had writeable disks.

Juego 67: Excitebike (1984)

Good for an NES Launch Title... Unexciting for everything else.

My first NES game - fond memories!

I asked my grandma for Gran Turismo 7

Pros: The action of tilting your bike forward and back in the air, to either speedily propel forward or skyrocket upward, is a really fun feeling, and one of satisfying precision control. Also just poppin' a wheelie by holding left on the + pad at any time is a great sensation. And the fact that there's a track editor in here, is a nice bonus.

Cons: Not much to the races, a series of obstacles in a straight line, and the lack of multiplayer really harms the experience for me.

What it means to me: Playing this game as a kid, with the level of control, the sense of speed, and the fun of doing jumps and wheelies, was just... fun! It's a fun little bit of NES to play for an afternoon. And as a kid, I was especially impressed with the track editor, where I'd then pass the track to my brother to play, and then he'd make a course for me to play. It was a fun little time.

Not really a lot to this one, but for 1984 it's pretty cool. Selection A is pretty boring, but Selection B is a bit more fun, which was interesting to me. Usually I grow to prefer time trial over grand prix or vs mode in racing games, and here it's kinda the opposite. The real star of the show is the level editor. I always love level editors, and while this one is really basic it's still lots of fun to play around with. Giggling to myself imagining some kid in the 80s tricking their friend into playing the most shittily designed courses imaginable.

barely a game, but it gave a pretty cool Regular Show episode

Played on Nintendo Switch.

A nice and simple game. Considering this was one of the release titles for the NES, it's actually quite impressive. The design mode is actually quite advanced for such an old title and I enjoyed my limited time toying around with it.

I would've rated it higher but unfortunately this age of games isn't really my favourite alongside it not necessarily being my favourite genre.

Still a great experience though and worth playing compared to some of the other games on the NES.

Really pretty fun for its release year. If I had been a kid with this game at the time, I would definitely have spent many hours playing it. And the level editor is just wow

Not the best go fast game ever but it’s alright

One of the few old nintendo games left that has actual untapped potential left. The Trials games have done a decent job of realizing that potential, but have turned the game into a psychotic platforming challenge, when really the side-scrolling race about how you jump and how you land has plenty left as a game.

this game is so exciting that when you go super fast you have to just stand there for like 5 seconds

cant say i wasnt excited
