Jesus Christ what the fuck happened here?

get this purple yellow bunny bitch outta here!

5/10 Mediano

Game's fine but a bit too easy for my tastes.

Surprinsilgly I found this one to be more fun than the previous two. The obnoxious micro-manage is replaced by a simpler system that instead encourages strategy and thought. And about it being easy, I don't see why that is a problem, it's supposed to be scary or atleast keep you on your toes, you don't need to make a hard game where you lose more often, that only breaks engagement and makes it even less scary.

Also the minigames required for the special ending give you some else to do besides the always repetitive main gameplay loop of these games.

Some of the coolest story and lore points are in this game but the gameplay sucks donkey dick

gameplay is definitely at its worst in this one. springtrap is really easy to manipulate and despite having one of the coolest and scariest designs in the series has the worst jumpscare i have ever seen. lore and minigames are cool but actually discovering it all yourself without a guide is impossible, especially that bullshit with the tile phone number. for what was supposed to be a conclusion to the series i would say its pretty good and would have satisfied most people

this is the best fnaf game and you will never make me change my mind

I only just got into the series with this one, really strong start and I can see how it became such a mega franchise. I recently saw the movie in cinema and was blown away, I had a blast. and this game has similar lore to the movie, I now understand a lot of funny references too

while not one of my favorite fnaf games, i still like it! game is much different from the previous 2 as you only get killed by one animatronic, springtrap! also known as william afton, making his first actual debut in this game. gameplay might not be for everyone but i found it decent enough, animatronic designs are unique, and springtrap has such an insane design! would recommend

Extremely good addition to the orororororor series and i love the usage of minigames as lore. (Also underrated soundtrack or am i crazy)

Quesito gameplay talvez seja o piorzinho dos jogos, mas em relação a história é com certeza um dos melhores!

The best Five Nights at Freddy’s game and it isn’t even a debatable topic. The game features the most enjoyable gameplay loop in the entire franchise with easily the most satisfying ending. The murder victims of the purple guy were set free from their eternal Hell of the animatronic suits while the very man who took the lives of the innocent children is left to forever exist between a state of the living and the dead as an ironic punishment for his crimes. Honestly a genius ending and if Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 was the final game, then I’d say the series would be one of the greatest in gaming.

I know a reason the game was heavily disliked when it first released was because of the “weak jumpscares” (Which isn’t where the horror in these games comes from, but whatever), though I would argue the game has the greatest set of jumpscares as getting hit by a ghost animatronic and not immediately hitting a game over causes quite the panic which in turn makes Springtrap's jumpscare all the more great. Speaking of Springtrap, his design is genius. It is what a good horror villain should be. The fact you can’t quickly spot him in the camera makes later nights terrifying as you’re frantically looking between each camera to see where he’s moved so you can lock him out of the office.

The office design is also great. The building makes a lot of sense with each point of entry for Springtrap making sense and no useless spaces that don’t make sense for the design of the building (Something that Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 and Sister Location just fail at for whatever reason). The game requires you to be on your guard at all points which makes potential deaths actually feel like your fault instead of being at 4:00 AM and Toy Bonnie just fucking up your day and allowing the wind up box to reach 10%.

I mean, the game isn’t perfect, but there isn’t much to criticize at a base level. My personal favorite and infinitely better than Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. Wait, you like Five Nights at Freddy’s as well? I just got into these games recently, haha. What’s your name? By the way, I like your TV Girl shirt, do you listen to Deftones?

Rating: B+
Genre(s): Point and click adventure, survival horror

I like the idea behind this one...And that's about it.

In terms of gameplay, it is worse than the previous two games despite having some interesting ideas. Too much repetition, so many dull and tedious things you have to do rather than simply keep an eye on the damn robot...And simply way. too. many. jumpscares.

This game makes you dumber by the minute just for how many unnecessary jumpscares it has...Which is weird, because the one guy who needed a jumpscare (Springtrap) simply does not have one; instead, when he "kills" you, all he does is just kinda stand there and does nothing.

I don't understand how you take the main criticism of "The series is nothing but cheap jumpscares" and then go and make a third installment that is nothing but shitty ghosts yelling at your ear for the entire game. Game was so mid, Cawthon had to make a 4th game just to say sike.

springtrap is the coolest thing ever i love springtrap

Five Nights at Freddy's 3 was a game that we used to play back in high school. I remember pretty much everyone in my class was afraid by it, while I was hating on it because it lacked the improvements of the sequel and was so far removed from the original's atmosphere. Fastforward a few years, I still believe that it is a lesser sequel to the first, but I certaintly don't have the same frustration that I used to have from it now.

In terms of presentation and challenge, FNAF 3 is an entirely different entry. The familiar and unsettling atmosphere that made the first game, and to some extent the second game, such a distinctive entry in the genre, is no longer there. Additionally, the large roster of animatronics from the second game has been replaced with just Springtrap, the only animatronic.

You'd think that by only focusing on a single animatronic, it would be the most threatening by far, but that is not the case at all. As springtrap can easily be exploitable by simply using the lure noise to keep him in place in a single room, I was able to use this strategy for the first four nights and even part of the fifth.

The challenge, instead, lies in figuring out where Springtrap is. That being said, I'm not really sure if it was intentional or just a design error. Unlike the full-screen camera view in the other two games, the small camera panel makes it impossible to tell where Springtrap is. The poor placement of Springtrap, static effects, and gloomy hallways further compounded this problem.

The one thing that I hate the most about the game, though, both now and in high school, is the sheer inconsistency of Springtrap. None of his jump scares, if you could even call them that, elicit any kind of reaction. He's supposed to be this scary animatronic that's more powerful than any of what has been introduced in the franchise, yet his attacks in the game are nothing more but goofy. Additionally, his inconsistency can also be found during his hunting segment, as he could be at the very edge of the building then he's already in the room with you in a matter of seconds. This really threw me into a loop, thinking that I might have been doing something wrong with the game.

Overall though, I expected it to be a lot worse than I remember it to be, but honestly, it wasn't all that bad. Sure, I can't really give out anything positive about the game because honestly, I didn't find it anything worth noting about it, but at least it isn't as frantic and random as FNAF 2.

she's springd my trap so hard i had to tell her i always come back :/
