It Steals is a delightful goodie bag of horror minigames. You can get through all of it in around three hours, so it’s perfect for a Friday or Saturday night where you just want to sit down and beat something all the way through. It’s also actually quite scary at times, Zeekerss demonstrates much understanding of what goes into making horror games actually horrifying. Proper tension build-up, forcing the player to think on their toes, great sound design, fairly smart enemy AI, the list goes on. Best part is it’s 5 bucks. That’s like two gallons of milk in today’s economy. Go check it out.

Solid Simple Horror game. There's not much too it, but it finds it's own fun quirks and makes them work well enough.

Much more intelligent and interesting take on the slenderman-like genre. The monster AI behaves in a very natural feeling way and the extra game modes are really creative especially the one with the invisible monster. Main turn off for me is the monster just looks like a minecraft block with legs but w/e.

he stole my heart ;)

(I HATE HIM)

Living Walls é desnecessariamente complexo e injusto. (apenas sou ruim)

Surprisingly fun, unique, and adrenaline pumping.

This game is good. Surprisingly so when you look at it, as most of the game consists of dull checkerboard walls/floor/ceiling and mazes, but it turns out there's a lot you can do with that. The game doesn't ever scream at you (and I'd say there's no jumpscares at all but there is room for disagreement) yet still keeps you on the edge of your seat, even when you know damn well what you're doing and what consequences come about when you screw up. This especially comes about in Hide and Seek, where the game leans more towards the outright goofy when it realizes the horrors aren't landing (and the game knows when to be humorous,) yet I found myself always worried and cautious nonetheless. That isn't to say the game can't be scary, nono, Shutter Mode and Living Halls in specific consistently elicited the occasional whimper. It puts forth a bunch of diverse ideas with the same standard formula and they all manage to work!

Obviously that isn't without fault, though. The Phantom's AI is outright unfair at times, with it revisiting areas, and avoiding capture at plenty points is outright impossible. The maze design in Living Halls isn't the greatest, especially near Vault B, where the entrance is practically obscured. Classic Mode quickly ends up being a little too simple (though understandably so,) and its extra mode honestly just sucks. Doors are pointless, and a few of the ending cutscenes aren't necessary. I find myself wishing that it put a little less forth in that department, and just leaned in more with being a maze minigame collection.

But most of my complaints are nitpicks. It's not airtight, but it's solid nonetheless, which is impressive for how small the underlying formula is.

perigo constante de eu me cagar na calças

I have played through all the 5 modes and also the 3 extra modes, and damn, this game is one of the scariest experiences i had. The AI of the monster seems to be incredibly well done, it doesnt just mindlessly run after you, instead, it hides and even manages to suprise you from time to time. Unlike some other games i played where you can predict an enemy ai, this one keeps you guessing what it will do next and when it will come also the feeling of paranoia stays and never seems to fade.

Also the sound design is awesome, love it!

cool minimap but the game is just golden light: asset flip

A solid little horror game that layers mechanics in a decently interesting way. Doesn’t do anything too amazing but it’s decent fun for a bit

As of writing, I think this is the peak of all those stalker-based first-person indie games that started with Slender. It's tight, replayable, and has many unique gimmicks.
