Great horde shooter with a plethora of guns and classes to pick from, but really shines in the sequel

if left 4 dead wasnt a thing i think this game wouldve been bigger than it was

Review EN/PTBR

Launched in 2009, a game like this had many opponents to face in the online market since it was in the same year that Left 2 dead 2 was released, however, even so, it managed to stand out in a unique way with incredible songs that fit perfectly in gameplay accompanied by a slow motion system (Zed time) in combat that was very well used and still being a FPS with a lot of polish and satisfaction with each hit shot

Nowadays many might say it's repetitive and tiring but that's because you don't put yourself in the position of the time when the game was released and everything that came before it

Being a game that initially started as a mod for an unreal tournament has made a grand path to the final released product.

A strange thing in the game for me is still the class leveling system, inside the game you have 7 classes and they only evolve if you do exactly what the class is destined to do instead of having some XP system or something similar, like for example you can't play as a doctor and go out shooting waiting for you to level up, the doctor has his own progress bar which goes up depending on how much healing you do to other players and as soon as the bar is full you will level up with the class, the maximum level of each class is 6 but each level in this game makes a huge difference with ever increasing attributes and bonuses that can save a game from certain defeat, however, those who want to get maximum level with some class you have to be aware of the incredible grind you are about to face

Certain DLC weapons I feel are so good that they are almost essential to the game but not in a pay2win way, almost in a way for the game to be more fun.

You don't get to kill the floor

Great game to play with friends

So many memories playing this in the dorm room with the lads. Firebug is my jam, man.

fun only if you play with friends

takes longer to level up your classes in this than it does to raise a damn child

Amazing game. It's a good balance of actual horror and fun gameplay. It really stands out after playing KF2 and coming back years later, the design choices are really solid. You DO have to deal with some engine jank but its not really that bad.

Objective mode kinda sucks though. They need to buff commando too, its useless on HOE.

I completed 100% of the steam achievements.

I always have a blast playing this game because I'm with my friends. Also the game simply rules.

Look it's alright, played with some friends and it's fun spending time on modded servers with 4chan humour all the time, but still there's so many better zombie games out but this one is a certified hood classic.

Classic wave based action that was outdone in the second game. Worth coming back to just to see how it began.

Custom maps in this game were the SHIT

Eu preciso tomar vergonha e jogar o 2.

Killing Floor is a game that feels fairly quaint by modern standards, but at the time there really wasn't much else like it. The high player count per server really allowed this game to stand out, and led to some truly memorable moments.

Didn't play coop, got bored quickly.

fun timekiller to play with mates

The gameplay never clicked for me, im more used to kf2, but man... the visuals... the music... i LOVE that.

Except for the engine jank FUCK the unreal engine.

The Source Engine jank I know and love, except it actually isn't a Source Engine game!
Unfortunately though, Deep Rock Galactic took all of its thunder.

this is basically what england is like most of the time
