I think I would enjoy this a lot more if the controls and item usage was a bit more obvious. Also the fact that there are lines means I sadly don't get much time to enjoy it since others are waiting for me. I wish it taught you things a bit better.

Something about this game is just stupid fun.

Unusual selection of characters, unique item system, fun courses and weirdly satisfying controls.

The only con is that it's an arcade exclusive.

murderous. gp dx is harder better faster stronger bigger louder mario kart 8. sure, it costs too many credits at the dave and busters, but the amount of psychotic fun you and your friends will have screaming at each other as you battle for first is worth more than gold or silver or even gems. gnarly

100% socially acceptable way to eviscerate small children in public!

NINTENDO PLEASE EITHER PORT THESE GAMES TO YOUR NEXT CONSOLE OR INCLUDE THE TRACKS AND CHARACTERS AS DLC FOR THE NEXT GAME!!!!

good game, i like the graphicsđź‘Ť

bad and expensive mario kart but you can be pac man

Mariokart for the arcade, had a lot of fun with this.

Wish the drifting had an easier way to cancel out of and activate the boost, but this is perfectly serviceable arcade Mario Kart. Nothing I'd go out of my way for though.

Played this game with a bunch of friends and it's actually surprisingly fun, the game has great music and graphics, Items are fun and varied, the character selection is pretty nice and the track design while somewhat simple and barren is fun enough to play with friends

A lot easier to immediately pick up than the original GP. Plus, Pac-Man!

Played at The Operating Room arcade in Des Moines, Iowa (I think?). I should've expected this, but the controls were hard to get used to, especially as a longtime Mario Kart fan who rarely visits arcades. I will not be returning to this game.

The town I'm in has this in close proximity to a bar, so I can finally drink and drive as god intended

so exciting going to an arcade and seeing this machine just sitting there

I haven't experienced all this game offers. I know I can emulate it but I haven't gotten around to it. Masybe one day I will. but from what I HAVE played it's always a fun experience. For a Mario Kart match is runs a bit short but for an arcade game it feels a little lengthy. Ive waited like 8 minutyes for a family of 6 dumbass kids to get up so the adult (real mario fan) can sit down and play

4 credits for one race, not even a full prix. Consider me disappointed. Everything about this version of Mario Kart is either streamlined or randomized. I have no idea if I took first place because of my skill or because I was graced with a powerful kart and item combination. Also this iteration of GP has the inferior version of pac-man.

Its fine. You can be Pac-Man so that is cool. Worth playing just to see what its like but its not as good as most Mario Kart games.

Think there's capital punishment in store for the dudes responsible for turning the modern arcade racer into a borderline parlor gimmick

not so fun when there's some people awkwardly standing behind you waiting

Boneless

Mario

Kart

I'm making this review more to mark off a checklist, it's everything you'd expect if you dumbed down everything about Mario Kart so anyone could finish it on a 50cc level in first place without putting in much effort. It's exactly what you expect if you decided to take away 80% of the components to make something more commercial and accessible to a wide audience, which is INSANE when Mario Kart is already a game that appeases mostly everyone??

It was not a good time at Dave n Busters that's for sure. (4/10)
