This was somehow even shorter than the other two I think.

I love the interactions between Peter and Silver Sable. The Yuri tape sidequest I also thought was great.

Besides that, it's still just the same stuff and the continuation/conclusion of the DLC story

Não é tão ruim igual Turf Wars, mas também não é tão boa quanto The Heist. Porém, amarra as pontas soltas, fecha todos os arcos, e deixa tudo pronto pra sequência (ou no caso, o jogo do Miles).

I am shocked that anybody in the writers room thought turning the crime boss Hammerhead into a cyborg monster was a good idea.

so now my playthrough of the dlc is done

the story/villain was never the dlc's strong suit. hammerhead is pretty basic, though once you suspend your disbelief for what he turns into its a pretty fun conclusion.

the banter between sable and spider man are great, honestly the dialogue is the best part of all 3 dlcs. black cat survived but then disappears immediately after, kinda shot that plotpoint in the foot. there was some worldbuilding with sable's country too, i dont remember it being touched upon in miles' story but it would be nice in the sequel, with what mj was up to over there i mean. ive honestly got really reattached to the insomniac versions of these characters over the replay, man...

the dlc has fewer setpieces and feels more like a confident farewell to the game(not to mention the dlc formula/mission structure. doesn't dilly dally with its side content) theres no standout fight besides maybe the sable team up fight. but that doesn't really matter because its a solid experience throughout its runtime. the difficulty isn't as cranked up as it was in turf wars which is kinda disappointing. and the final boss is pretty fun, maybe beats out turf wars's hammerhead fight.

i still prefer turf wars because of the cement fight, tone, and boss but silver lining was a great finale to this replay. miles is next.

I LOVE RUSSIAN WOMEN :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob:

This was bad,so bad,and dont make talk about the ending.Very anti-climatic

Even worse than the previous one. Story is uninteresting and then it just ends.

rarely good, silver sable is cool though

Not hitting the same highs as the core game, not hitting the same lows as the previous DLC adventures. Silver Lining bravely asks: "Are throwback mafia dons with indestructible exoskeletons cool?" The answer is and always will be "it varies," however, it's par for the course when it comes to the antics of everyone's friendly neighborhood web-head. The dynamic between Peter and Sable shines through here, easily the best character writing of the DLC campaigns, though the length of the add-on does truncate their development somewhat. It almost makes the endless barrage of repetitive combat encounters worth enduring. (You know me, I'm all abou that sweet-sweet NARRATIVE DIRECTION.) Regardless, after Turf Wars, it's nice to end on a (relative) high note. Felicia's back, too!

Silver Lining concluded The City That Never Sleeps DLC, Silver Sable making a return and joining in on an uneasy alliance with Spider-Man. Sable carried it, her no-nonsense personality the highlight. While Hammerhead may have still been underwhelming and not a great antagonist, it was still worth the playthrough to end off a great main game. At times it even proved more of a challenge with increased difficulty, obviously assuming the player to be familiar with the skillset.

Replayed from – to: (2022-01-03 – 2022-01-04) – PS5.
‣ 7/10 – Fuck screwball. Praise Jameson.
‣ Final notes: I am glad they gave us more closure on some character story lines, but at the same time I feel like they still left some room to give us something more. Black cat is back no surprise there, but only for a brief moment and then never mentioned again which I found saddening. Yuri’s storyline is also briefly mentioned but not fully explained. My guess we will see more from them in other games. Overall, this should be the best DLC out of the three, but it is at the same time the worst. Gameplay vise nothing new is introduced only recycled and dumped on you. At one point I was contemplating if it is even worth it to finish all the side content, because it was getting ridiculous. I really hated the idea of some 90s mobsters becoming cyborg cryogenically frozen soldiers just because they stole some technology. With that idea come the same enemies but this time they are wearing armor and become punching bags. The bases you get to clear also have like 200 enemies each which is time consuming and tiresome. However, this was a good DLC pack and gave players enough content if you wanted more of Spider-Man.

Silver Sable - second favourite russian.

Probably my favourite of the 3 DLCs in terms of the pure story content, with it serving as a great ending to both Yuri and Sable's arcs. While it wasn't the best in terms of gameplay, the final showdown with Hammerhead at the tail end of the campaign is huge on spectable, and it puts a nice little bow on the game's story.

I hope Screwball dies in a fire.

Silver sable can you please respond to my DM

why did they do this to hammerhead. probably the worst thing to come out of insomniac's spider-man game, and I hope this isn't a harbinger of things to come.

Since the mafia plot(the interesting stuff) ended in the last dlc this one focuses on the big bad Hammerhead except he's very one note and boring. They also bring back Silver Sable who is cool except they make her redo her mini arc from the base game for some reason. Remember the set up and motivations Yuri got in the last dlc? Insomniac doesn't, all her content is relegated to side content and while I do think as side content its done decently it ends up just being sequel bait which makes you wonder what was the point of setting up her rivalry with Hammerhead if she doesn't even get to interact with him in this DLC or help take him down. Not a very good end to what could have been a good dlc saga

The final chapter fumbles the landing of a largely risk-averse stunt.

With Chapter 3 focusing on Silver Sable, the plot here has a foundation to build upon this time. It's not great, but it's better than Black Cat's story in Chapter 1 or Hammerhead's introduction in Chapter 2. There's a clear motive for Sable, there's a bite-sized character arc for her, and Spider-Man feels right to tag along for the ride.

That said, there's hardly anything I found interesting with Hammerhead. His final showdown didn't pack the same robotically-enhanced punch as fights in the base game, largely because Spider-Man and Hammerhead mean very little to each other. By the end of this chapter I grew completely disinterested in the mechanized mafia theming. In the heat of fast-moving turf battles, enemies blur together as grey and white geometric blobs. And speaking of combat, I actively avoided what I could to streamline my time with this DLC. That's usually not a good sign.

Yuri's true motives are revealed here, albeit with the fanfare of an eyebrow raise and a shrug. While Yuri's typically been relegated to off-screen support, her side story also unfolding in the background feels lazy. Other minor story beats are thrown in to wrap up loose ends and set up future games – all with varying degrees of success.

quem fez essa carniça devia estar embriagado

Not going to Like I forgot this part of the story, like how do you fall so flat after the main games story.
New Locations and Enemies were fun I guess.
