I have fond memories of this nice little game. I never played the original Nicktoons game and jumped in with this one. It is really amazing to see all these characters come together, especially when you watched all these shows as a kid. All the voice actors are here and do great work.

The gameplay is nothing special and every character is basically the same combat wise. Patrick has a fun cartwheel attack, and Sam is stupid OP. You get the battery for the suit and she can just kill everything. It's flashy and works.

It has pretty solid content and rewards exploration. There's bonus costumes and extra levels, art gallery, monster collection, etc. more than serviceable.

It's not a great game. The platforming can be tedious. It's not long. The story it tells isn't really that cool. You don't care about it being GOOD, but make it fun. And the story dosent go far enough to do that.

But it has tons of charm and it feels like the people making it actually cared and had fun.

I got to play this with someone years ago and it was a ton of fun.

It's a relic from an older time, but one I still enjoy.

the weakest of the nicktoons series

Nicktoons Unite was more straightforward and had less characters but I guess I found the idea for that game more interesting than this.

Who wants to see all these dumbass characters on a random island? Just boring.

Tie in games for children cartoons are supposed to be bad, but CROSSOVER tie in games for children cartoons are supposed to somehow be worse. From cheap knockoff fighting games to cheap knockoff racers, they're not supposed to be good at all. They're shovelware to throw at kids who recognize the absorbent sponge on the front and cry at their parents until they give up and buy it for them.

Nick games however are surprisingly different, and so far out of the 2 games I've played that have Nick properties, both have been really good, and for some reason both of them have "Battle For" in their titles...

Nicktoons: Battle For Volcano Island is an old Gamecube/PS2 3D platforming Beat-em-up that plays...surprisingly well. The platforming is kinda tight, the fighting is quick but fun, the game has some surprisingly funny lines, and the music kinda hits it out of the park at times. Is it a perfect game? Fuuuuuck no, the hitboxes are weird, the combat can be entirely avoided 98% of the time, and graphically it looks strikingly similar to an N64 game and even looked dated at the time. But it's still pretty good, and could even be an absurdly fun speed game if people wanna sit down and grind it out...

Great time, but why do you have to be stuck with a predetermined lineup.

"Fortnite is the greatest crossover in video game history."
Me, an intellectual:

The sequel to Nicktoons Unite! is a really short, really easy ten-level 2.5D platformer with shooter elements.

I completed this game in a few hours while also battling with my Wii continuously freezing during play.
In this game you play as characters from SpongeBob, Danny Phantom and also Timmy Turner from Fairly Odd Parents.

The story is really weird to me as it has basically nothing to do with Nicktoons characters unlike the previous game which had the villains from every show featured teaming up.

This game is just a prophecy being fulfilled by crab people.
It's not explained why these characters are the "chosen ones" or how they even ended up on this island in the first place.

It is incredibly easy and a bit boring.
I at least want some challenge like the last one had, this one you can just ignore everything and you'll be done pretty quickly.

The second game in the Nicktoons Heroes series. While it has a good setting, it falls flat in many ways

Spongebob Squarepants, Danny Phantom, Timmy Turner, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks and Sam Manson. Each has a basic attack and a special attack with orange crystals while blue crystal healing you. Sam Manson can pick up a special crystal that will give her unlimited health and unlimited special attack. Jimmy Neutron, Squidward Tentacles and Tucker Foley are NPC's. Sponegbob and Danny are always in the party and 2 other characters join. The thing is you can't choose your characters which is a shame and a major downside.

During the levels you can find collectables which can upgrade the camps. The playable characters will get a bonus level while Tucker gets a movie theatre and Squidward gets an art gallery which shows concept art. Jimmy gets nothing because he managed to stay in his lab during the summoning. The playable characters also get new costumes by collecting a certain amount of junk found across the levels.

The story is basic. The evil Mawgu wants to destroy worlds so three crabs summon the Nicktoon heroes from the most popular shows, at the time, to gather and face the Mawgu and save the Nicktoon world.

The game is fine but I wished that it had more levels and a choice of playable characters to make this an amazing crossover game of Nickelodeon cartoons

Always kicked me back to the main menu when I got to the last level for some reason.

Wish I could have gotten the bonus costumes

every hardcore action game secretly copied this games final boss

Fun ass nickelodeon crossover game. Good as a kid, good as an adult.

melhor jogo de todos os tempos (última vez que joguei fazem 11 anos)

Played it to death with my sister. Not a great game by any means, but it's fun, and allows messing with the other player, which creates funny situations and fond memories.

Played this game for like an hour and a half and then realized that it isn’t that good

Beat it in one day because I had no memory card. It sucks major c**ks

I loved this game. And I miss this game. Never finished it and the emulator won't run it and my PS2 is suffering a bit, but I would like to go back one day and finish it.

Very easy and snore inducing generic licensed best em up PS2 era game. These were a dime a dozen and despite my nostalgia for it, it’s just bad.

When I lost my DS I was upset I couldn’t play this anymore
