Played the Wii U version too, pokemon fighting game kinda badass ngl. The pokemon also look really good in this
I played it a bit on the Wii U and enjoyed it but never managed to beat it. Getting to re-experience it on the Switch was a treat; this is a super unique fighting game with a solid learning curve.

This game is almost so cool. It has a fantastic roster of Pokemon to choose from, and it looks great. But its battle system is so gimmicky IDK arena fighter sections kinda stink

i played this game for the first time after like 7 years on halloween at a friend's place and i was getting fucking owned by my two drunk friends and i cherish that moment that solidifies my love for my friends and gameing
Some really cool ideas but the arena style gameplay wasn’t doing it for me. It felt very bare bones. Online play was also horrible.

O combate é bem legal, e o jogo é bem hype, no geral os comandos são meio confusos então no fim é bem difícil aprender tudo sobre o seu personagem principal, Sei lá, não vale a pena.

A neat Pokémon fighting game which is a concept I'm surprised wasn't done sooner.
Bestes Fighter Spiel was ich gespielt habe, simpel zu lernen, aber bietet sehr viel Tiefe und Strategie. Höchstens der Singleplayer Content ist sehr meeh und grafisch gehört es auch eher der unteren Liga an.

It's a massive shame this game was abandoned, it's actually good fun.
Not for me
Very fun fighting game that lacks the depth of tekken, but makes it more accesible to all ages. The music is good and the graphics are probably the best the pokemon series have ever seen. A sequel would be amazing, and if Nintendo would support the FGC a bit more, this game could be huge I beleive.
Great game but nintendo give up on this one, dosen't have much single player content, the online mode is dead with few people and no spectating system that kill any tournament streaming or hosting this game besides only 2 DLC characters making the roster with one space left forever.
Decent roster, everything else sucked ass, awful voice acting, mediocre combat, stupid graphics, bad game.
