Fun little singleplayer/multiplayer/co-op sandbox war shooter where you start as a troop and eventually get to command your own squad of a dozen or so people with air support. It's sort of like foxhole but singleplayer and a much bigger emphasis on basic battles & squads without any of the tech or supplies stuff.

Has some issues though, there's a strange obsession with scavenging loot off your enemies and finding treasures to get points to use on weapons and stuff.. not sure why these mechanics are even present and there are luckily mods to remove the systems and replace them with better progression systems.

It could also really benefit from added depth/complexity as it really is just direct engagements between ground infantry/vehicles with little meta-game (just shifting control of the campaign map over several locations which decides where you fight and stuff, sort of like foxhole), and beyond some side objectives like sabotaging or going behind enemy lines to capture areas alone (as in just you and your squad) which are tons of fun, there isn't much to do and you could get bored easily.

I just wanted to try it out, did not expect to play this very long and half an hour was enough for me to be done with the game. I am sure there are people out there that can enjoy this game way longer than I did, but it is just not something that keeps my attention for long.

fun with friends, some cool ideas but it can be frustrating with the AI

its cool but it gets boring quickly

"What if we made a fun little battlefield sandbox the feels like toy army men come to life. But, instead of having a reasonable progression system, we force the player to pick up random crap in the middle of a warzone, and run multiple couple minute detours back to base if he wants to use more than 4 basic weapons?"
It's a charming concept with fun to be had, but, once the initial appeal chaffs thin, you're left a game of bewildering design choices.
