forgotten game that i wish would’ve gotten more justice to it

Gostava bastante quando era criança.

fucking hated this game with a passion as a kid

sometimes im persuaded too easily by my friends to play shit in call

The music in this game should not go as hard as the crusty animations this game has. I'm flabbergasted.
It's still a fine game.

banger game, it's just the usual weird thq dub that "bothers" me

This game was developed by Blitz Games who also made Creature from the Krusty Krab and this game was made for a mediocre TV special which was also a musical.

The game is a mini game collection so one chapter will be different to the next. So when exploring the museum you are taking pictures and escaping the palace you are solving VERY basic puzzles while avoiding guards and spotlights.

The voice acting is alright with TWO exceptions. The Lord Royal Highness was voiced by a different actor because in the TV special LRH was voiced by singer David Bowie. The other is Mr. Krabs who isn't voiced by anyone and only makes grunts. This was because Clancy Brown, who voices Krabs in the show, demands more money than other actors, but they could do what they did in Battle for Bikini Bottom and get another voice actor.

The music is a major highlight. Since the TV special was a musical the music plays a major part. The music in the game is amazing. My personal favourite is Tour Trouble.

This is an alright licensed game that you could beat this game in 2-3 hours. The only thing bringing people back are some mini-games and the music. But, you can listen to the OST on the internet.

One of the worst things I've ever touched.

I dont remember what this is about but I played as a kid, so am adding it to my catalog

I wish this game was better. I really wish it was. The idea of a game based after Atlantis Squarepantis sounds like a pretty cool idea honestly. The Special itself wasn't great but it had many cool ideas that would of worked on a Spongebob 3D Platformer akin to Battle for Bikini Bottom. INSTEAD what we got was a game that starts AT THE END of the special, some reused music from Creature, cutscenes from a PC point and click and a bunch of nonsensical mismatched gameplay styles that feel like they should of been in a mini-game collection. Its very sad.

als kind im rythm game part verkackt

a boring mess of minigames that are so forgettable you honestly will somehow not remember this game, more than the actual special itself. Do not recommend AT ALL.

i've never seen anyone talk about the gba version (the one i played as a kid) and i guess there's a reason why

this had to be from the Chum Bucket cause ain't no one cooking here

Recomendo :)

Well it's not like I was expecting much from this one considering it's based on one of of the worst SpongeBob episodes that even had the gall of criminally wasting the late great David Bowie, but holy fuckin' barnacles it's like we've really reached rock bottom.

The next game to come from Blitz Games and easily one of their worst (most likely sitting closely next to Surf & Skate Roadtrip) Atlantis Squarepantis is essentially a collection of minigames, all of which are utterly terrible and most definitely outstay their welcome.

You know this game is wearing that Shovelware badge with total ass pride when there's a rhythm minigame with the characters walking about... that has essentially no rhythm to it, goes on for 789 gazillion hours and basically makes up half of the game.

Man, I just can't get to The Cosmic Shake fast enough.

Reviewing this game under the PS2 entry even though I played it on Wii because the Wii version has almost no ratings and is the same game.
The game is bad. It's some kind of very odd minigame collection that can vary in quality wildly. I remember the opening segment where you do some kind of puzzle level in the cave with SpongeBob and Patrick took me way too long to figure out. Of course in this version, the entirety of the controls are mapped to motion controls on the Wii Remote rather than using buttons. I think the photography levels are fun in that they seem like a clone of what Pokemon Snap is like (I desperately need to play that game). The driving levels are pretty bad because they simply don’t feel fun to control.
The funniest minigame that is baffling is how a high amount of the levels within this game are something I would describe as “button tapping”. They’re clearly supposed to be “rhythm levels” but the whole thing feels like there’s no sense of rhythm. Half the time you’re just tapping buttons that are shown on the screen. It is so crazy that the grand finale of the game is literally just a button tapping game where the amulet is being sent away or whatever.
I remember some of the unlockable mini games were relatively fun. It seems this game wants you to 100% the levels and repeat them over and over again or something because the unlockable content seemed to be immense but I never went back to get all of this. It reminds me of Blitz’s other SpongeBob game where they locked the final level behind finding every “Sleepy Seed” (another game I never fully completed). I have heard rumors of a commentary track on every level for this one???
This is based on one of the worst SpongeBob specials and yeah you can kinda tell how shambles this game is. They needed to whip something up to fill a flimsy big budget 44 minute special and ended up with a lazy minigame collection from developers who have clearly shown they can do better (even with this franchise). If I remember correctly, this game even reuses some music from “Creature From The Krusty Krab”. This isn’t even the best game based on Atlantis Squarepantis somehow. After replaying this a few years ago I gave my copy to a friend of mine and I don’t think he liked the game either lmao.

4/10

it’s just the same mini games over and over. they’re not terrible, in fact some of them are interesting like SpongeBob and Patrick exploring the caves, but I still think the game is overall one of the worst SpongeBob games and an example of why a tie in game to a tv movie doesn’t work. some of the music is good and I remember thinking the customizable SpongeBob was pretty cool too but you have to play the game to use it soooooo not worth it.

Played when i was younger but can't remember anything about this game

lembro de ter odiado mt esse jogo

Pretty whatever compilation of minigames, pretty mid 4 but taking 1 point off for not having David Bowie.
