For the stint of time I had this game the Battery was loose in the cartridge. I sold it because I already owned Super Mario World...twice
It's exactly what it says on the box. I have nothing to add here that I didn't already mention in my All-Stars review, other than the great new Luigi spritework for SMW.
This version of All Stars is better because Luigi has his floaty jumps in Mario World.
Probably the greatest value in gaming history, next to The Orange Box. Nothing to say, it's just a bunch of some of the greatest games ever created on 1 cart

There is nothing much to say about this game.
The updated visuals mess with my brains, and i am (almost) sure they messed with the physics of SMB3 to make it works with SMB1 and SMB2 physics, but god damn, it's a compilation of some of the best 2D platformers of all times, they look pretty and colorful, the musics are incredible , but more than anything it's full of idea everywhere, you can enter a new level of all of those games and find new ideas and design, they work really well and honestly ? The difficulty is top notch. Far from being in the hard are a of the nes and snes, they're harder than most platformers those days but are so good, it's not a problem to replay any of those levels.

The physics for all the games (other than SMW) are radically different and are completely jarring to get used to if you're familiar with the classics. Other than being a good deal for the time just play the ogs
It would be wrong to give this anything but at least 4.5 stars. I speedrun the remake of the original Mario Bros on this thing and love it. The other games are all masterpieces too (aside from Mario Bros 2).
What can you say about a classic game such as SMB? Each one in the series has it's charm. Great platforming and levels.
Es una simple recopilación de otros juegos. Algunos que son interesantes (como SMB3 o SMW), otros que son bastante meh pero que se pueden disfrutar.
No podía ser menos la falta de nintendo respecto a este juego. La interfaz está mal diseñada y da a entender que puedes guardar el juego cuando no es así. Un descuido de ese tipo puede afectar bastante la jugabilidad y experiencia, además de que demuestra lo poco que se interesó nintendo por esos "detalles" (de detalles nada. La interfaz principal del juego es algo importante. No puede ser tan descuidada).
De resto hay un re-texturizado y se han dejado los juegos intactos. Tal vez hubiese cambiado algunas cosas, algunas configuraciones que le dieran más gracia a que estás jugando una recopilación de juegos. El SMB1 todavía te lo tienes que pasar de una tirada, el tema del guardado y la confusión de la interfaz dejan todas las bases para que el jugador llegue cansado del trabajo, se ponga a jugar unos minutos y se de cuenta que su progreso no está donde lo estaba la última vez.

It's a great compilation of all the classic Mario games and these games are still pretty good!
The only thing bringing it down for me is the fact that most of these games look way too similar now. I get they were trying to maintain a more consistent look for Mario around this time; but they kinda stripped these games away of their original personality by giving most of them pretty much the same art style.

This specific version is probably the best value you can get out of the SNES.

Português: Poderia ser bem melhor se eles não tivessem mexido tanto nas cores de SMB3, ou ao menos tivesse dado uma opção básica de jogar com as cores originais.

neat collection albeit tainted by the presence of super mario 2, maybe I'm asking too much but an option allowing you to play with classic sprites would've been nice. The updated art is nice but it loses some authenticity. It was fun but I'm glad theres no more games because I was starting to go insane
A bundle of great games with Super Mario World, which makes it even better.

5 Great mario games in 1, this might be the best bang for your buck on the Snes.
One of the best deals in all of gaming, right next to Valves Orange Box. Nintendo actually tried with this collection (crazy I know, 3D All Star kids' minds are blown right now). The graphics for every Mario before World have been upgraded. The style has been a little tainted because of all the Flash games I played as a kid. Still the graphics are tasteful redone and they look really good. The controls are however complete shit. Mario Bros 1, 2, and 3 feel crappy. Specifically breaking blocks is janky as hell. Still, with Super Mario World included it is naturally going to be rated highly.
