It doesn't add anything new to the game really

O melhor momento dessa DLC focada em combate, é quando não tem combate

As a piece of DLC, it's maybe a bit on the short side, more like a single "level" than any sort of meaningful expansion to the main game. Don't expect anything too new or novel in terms of content, it is still reusing and color swapping enemies from the base game and Gorgon is not particularly stunning sight to behold.

Ultimately, your enjoyment will come down to how much you enjoy the writing behind the quests, your crew's reactions and comments on the procedings, and the expanded world-building, and I very much enjoyed all these pieces on my end so it is an easy recommendation on my book.

Its ok, not incredible and it can break an entire secondsary questat the end and be unavble to complete

It has a good story but the gameplay is just dull and sometimes even boring. There are no new enemies, no improvements/expansions to the game, it's just a new map and more of the same.

It feels like this was part of the main game at some point and they just ripped it out of the main game to sell it aside it.

It's nice that there's a new area to explore and the story starts kinda interesting, but the lack of any new enemies or items plus the story becoming predictable made it kinda a bore in the end.

A solid follow-up to the base game. It's not particularly long, or expansive, but it feels very much in line with the main game. The main story feels very similar to the anti-corporation stories seen in the main game. It's not a must-buy, but it's a fun addition if you enjoy the original game.

el diseño del planeta es terrible, no sé cuantas horas duré perdido por la geografía, además del spike de dificultad muy por encima del nivel recomendado y misiones secundarias buggeadas

I mean, it's more of the same. It's a kinda interesting location, and the quest itself is at least somewhat compelling and does drive you on to complete it. The quest also expands a little of the background information on the universe of Outer Worlds, building on the themes of corporations treating workers like a resource.

As a DLC it doesn't really add anything new other than the setting. No new weapons, nothing you haven't really seen before. It's just more of the same, and this is a totally missable quest, so only get this DLC if you haven't scratched that Outer Worlds itch.

More of something that I found pretty awesome. I already celebrated the main game (8/10), even if it had problems. The first DLC has a nice series of quests that I completed in 6 hours. I liked the clasp at the end - keyword toggle with the drink - but it wasn't outstanding either, it was simply good.

I had a few laughs again and for that I love the game anyway. Some dialogues are just very well written.

In terms of gameplay, there is a new planet that looks okay, but the graphics are just not that great. Unfortunately, there were no new weapons or new skills, because you could have offered a lot more depth. Armaments are also neglected.

Well, there could have been a little more, but with 3/5 active ingredients my fun is shown quite well. But I'm expecting more from the next DLC!

it's fine. a neat little riff on (and one of the more obvious homages to) Joss Whedon's Firefly / Serenity universe with the marauders, etc. with little else going on. overall feels a bit bland and a little hollow (not unlike the rest of the game) but the extra locations were neat.

The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon is the first of two expansions which can be purchased separately or is already contained in the Spacer's Choice Edition.

One day you have been sent a parcel which contained someone's severed arm leading you to a now empty Spacer's Choice factory on Gorgon which is responsible for developing Adrena-Time. The one who sent the parcel was Minnie Ambrose and she wants you to find and retrieve her mother's journal to reveal what went wrong on Gorgon.
Gorgon isn't that interesting and it isn't something that hasn't been seen already. The quest overall is okay, the only thing I found just a bit irritating was the that I had to travel back on planets lead by the Board and by the time I was doing the DLC, the Board was already hating me, leading to unnecessary fights just to retrieve a access key to access a laboratory.

All in all, a decent DLC, which gives just an additional questline without implementing something innovative in the quest itself. If I have to choose which DLC of the two is better, Murder on Eridanos is my choice.

The DLC is probably my favorite part of the game. This one and the other are very good in my mind.

This DLC exists? The story is very basic from what I can remember

The planet felt a little dull but I enjoyed the story for the most part. Some funny moments for sure and I enjoyed the interactions and story of the Ambrose family.

Playtime: 6-8 Hours
Score: 7/10

The Outer Worlds was my GOTY of 2019 and I was really excited when they announced DLC for it! This DLC has you visit the Gorgon asteroid to solve a mystery!

The story, writing, and voice acting are still top-notch as they were in the base game, along with tons of choice and consequence which I always appreciate in RPGs! The game really lets you play how you want and either help or screw over all the characters you come across. And of course, in Obsidian fashion, you're presented with a morally grey choice at the end of the DLCs story. The Gorgon asteroid is fun to explore and the use of color mixed with the art style always makes everything look really cool! You also get to visit small bits of previously unexplored places like Olympus as well as new areas added to places from the base game like the Groundbreaker. The new science weapons are also cool and while you don't get a lot of new armor and weapons, you get MK3 versions of all the gear from the base game which are even stronger variants, as well some new unique weapons.

There are some new perks added for you to acquire which are pretty cool as well as some new ones for your companions. Skill checks also require a high skill level in most quests in this DLC, which is an improvement from the base game where high skill check requirements were only presented towards the endgame. They also allow you to increase skills past 100 and up to 150 now which is a nice addition for new players and ones looking to do another playthrough which is cool. There are new flaws added as well, but none of them popped up for me during my playthrough of the DLC.

This DLC unfortunately has some areas that I wish Obsidian did better in, like the lack of any new armor or weapons other than the new science weapons. There are also only 3-4 new side quests to do outside of the main story which was disappointing and only really one stood out to me as really good. It also would have been cool if we got some new companion quests, especially for the ones that only had one in the base game, but sadly there are none here. And while you do meet a lot of characters in the DLC, a lot of them are in one building and not spread out around the map as much. The characters you meet do hint at what happened on Gorgon, but a lot of asteroids history you have to read about in computer terminal entries, which I did in the beginning but after a while, I got tired of reading about everything and just wanted to learn about it through the interesting characters I met. One of the DLCs major plot points you find out from reading an email on a computer and while you do get reactions from your companions afterward, I would have rather had learned that from one of the NPCs during a conversation and not by reading about it in a boring email. My other issue with this DLC is that a lot of the new additions seemed geared more towards new players or older players looking to do a second playthrough. The level cap gets raised but only from 30 to 33, meaning you only get 30 new skill points to distribute and one perk if none of the new potential flaws popped up as it did for me. Because of this, if you're someone who loads up their endgame character who's already level 30 like I did, you won't get to really build or advance your character that much. I'm not saying the level cap raise must be like 20 levels, but maybe 10 or 5 like what Obsidian did with the Fallout: New Vegas DLCs, would have been appreciated here. Because of this, if you're someone who hasn't played this game at all, it might be better to wait until the second DLC comes out so that when you do a playthrough you can fully build out your character how you want to and not feel limited as a returning endgame player like I did.

Overall, I did enjoy this DLC, its new areas to explore and its engaging storyline to partake in. It's just some of the choices Obsidian made with regards to new gameplay additions felt damaging to returning endgame players. And the fact that the next DLC is only coming out in 2021 is really heartbreaking!

Obsidian gleefully and unabashedly took a lot of different aspects of the RPG genre and successfully mashed them with its own creative ideas to make The Outer Worlds, one of 2019’s strongest experiences. And now Obsidian is going down another path well-worn by role-playing games: expansions. Peril on Gorgon is the title’s first piece of DLC and, like the best of its peers, it meaningfully adds to the core campaign while also utilizing its best qualities and, in some cases, improving upon them.

I mean, it was alright, but you wouldn't be missing out on anything by skipping it.

It was okay by itself, but didn't live up to the main game.

More fun sandboxy RPG goodness if you liked TOW vanilla. However, it doesn’t improve/expand game components like the weapons system, which I was hoping for in an expansion, and instead really only offers a new map to explore with a new story quest. Gorgon itself is a fairly uninteresting setting in my opinion, although the story adds some fun stuff to the lore. Overall, if you enjoyed TOW, Peril on Gorgon offers more of the same, and if you found it lacking and half-baked, it doesn’t feel like the extra time has resulted in a more polished/deeper experience.

fun little story. not sure if the gameplay was this boring the first time around but i never looked forward to any combat.
