Got surprised with a Simpsons 1up arcade recently. Got to play through this with a friend. This game is wildly creative and has a soundtrack that rings in my mind constantly (thanks to the Talking Simpsons Podcast)

Absolutely awesome arcade beat em up! Full of classic Simpsons nostalgia that fills your heart with the warmest memories. It’s very fun too.
Shallow but beautiful, this Konami button basher is great for a short laugh, but not much more than that. Still one of the early 90s best looking and sounding games, for what that's worth.

Fun and chaotic, specially with friends. The only downside is they didn't use famous characters as bosses, and instead used some original characters who no one would bother to care.
Imagine TMNT if it looked better, but somehow was more boring.

É um bom jogo dos simpsons, mas acho que fica longe dos melhores de porradaria dos arcades, por ser um jogo do inicio da decada de 90 seus gráficos não são dos mais bonitos, os cenarios por vezes não tem tanta relação com a animação e a gameplay seria média, boa mas não das melhores. Recomendo para uma jogatina rapida ou se curtir jogos do tipo.
Clásico atemporal, no hay mucho que decir de él, graficos, musica, jugabilidad, referencias, dificultad, 4 personajes jugables, talvez el mejor juego de los Simpsons hecho.
Played at the VS Arcade Bar in Lincoln, Nebraska. It probably would've been more fun if someone else was there with me that day, but then again, I hate beat-em-ups.
Loved this game at the arcade. Still excited when I see it nowadays.
A good, solid beat 'em up that doesn't outstay its welcome. Was pleased to see it released on 360 but over 30 years on and it's a little strange that it only ever got two modern ports.

It’s a quarter water with little finesse, cheap as hell and with arbitrary hit boxes… but that early Simpsons charm has no substitute. So much nostalgia for watching people play this in bowling alleys and roller rinks as a kid in the nineties. I’d forgive if anything.
Jogo muito estiloso, mitada pura.
Like many co-operative arcade games it gets boring quickly if you have unlimited plays. Understandable when there are no stakes (in this case, financial pressure) to stay alive. There isn't a lot of combat variety, but some of the level locations, boss fights, and cutscenes are fun. Something about the game motivated me and a friend to see it all the way through, and that's worth something I suppose.

I have a few arcade bars in different areas near me and I have attempted this game a few times and finally beat it. This game is a side scrolling beat-em-up that’s 4-player co-op. so if you run into this game out there it’s definitely a must play with friends. You play as the 4 main family members and your goal is to rescue Maggie who is kidnapped by Smithers. You fight a whole slue of thugs, bears and robots across town with a final multistage boss battle. There are about 10 or so levels, each one with its own boss. Each character has 3 lives, and you must insert a quarter to continue unless you are playing a free to play version which is how I eventually beat it. I will say it isn’t as hard as some other arcade games I’ve played especially if you have 4 people but man that final boss is crazy difficult. I honestly can’t imagine beating this if you don’t have like 20$ worth of quarters with you. Overall definitely a fun arcade game and worth the time if you really love nostalgia arcades or the simpsons.

it's a classic, what else can i say? no move variety, some crushing difficulty at times to get your quarters, and gorgeous sprite work.
