Este juego me atrajo por sus interesantes graficos, sus mecanicas y su jugabilidad. Es un juego que esta muy bien, pero a partir de cierto punto esto es tan dificil que si no miras guias, yo es que no puedo, lo siento.

Nice for 1-2 hours, but boring after that

Withholding a score until I play the full release.

I'm not sure how I feel about Thronefall. On the one hand, its simplicity makes my monkey brain happy since I don't have to think too deeply into the strategy of my units. On the other, that simplicity among other things can cause the game to feel less like an RTS and more like a puzzle.

The biggest cause of this by far is the game's over-reliance on units. This may sound odd since we're talking about an RTS here, but the way the game is structured gives off the strong impression that unit and defense value is about 50/50. In reality, it's more like 70/30, with walls being the only defense that truly matters. Other than that, towers that aren't fully upgraded (which is expensive, mind you) are merely something to delay an enemy push.

Alongside that, a surprising amount of perks you can pick before starting a run are pointless, making for not a lot of fun in what little experimentation there is. Having one of your towers get a little more than double attack speed is extremely insignificant, as are any tower-related perks for that matter. I was pretty much taking the same perks every round in my time after the first mission.

With that said, there is genuine merit in the game. It's simplistic style makes it a somewhat accessible RTS, even if it can take a while to adjust to spamming units over defenses. The different weapons for your main character are also pretty great, provided you know when to pick them.

I think with a little rebalancing in the perks combined with additional content could make this a good if not great little RTS. Will have a look after 1.0 release to see if some of the more glaring problems have been rectified.

pra um jogo em early acess ele tem um conteudo muito bom e desafiador, so sinto falta de um modo infinito

Pas cher et c'est bien, jouez-y.

this game markets itself as a barebone RTS, and it delivers on that front in spades. i don't care for complicated games myself, being a brainlet, but even i get a little bored of how simple this game is.

Solid, simplistic game. Just needs a bit more work and it'll be a great game. Hopefully 1.0 improves it to the degree it deserves.

The main gameplay loop is so much fun, and a great take on tower defense games. Looking forward to what comes of this game as they continue to develop it

I was hooked on it for a week. Decent strategy game with various customizable/tweaks that add to replay-ability.

EARLY ACCESS REVIEW: Thronefall is a really neat, pocket-sized kingdom builder/tower defence game. There's a minimalism and simplicity to Thronefall that makes it really fast and snappy to play, but each wave of enemies on each of the game's miniature kingdoms still feels clever and tactical. Thronefall has all the classic decisions of the genre: balancing resources and defence, what army composition to build, and where to focus defences - but it has these decisions in a more limited decision-space that forces compromises and strategic decisions. It also looks really good, I'm a big fan of the visual style.

This is already worth playing in early access, and I can only imagine it will be at least this good still when the full release comes around.

A simple but very fun tower defense game!
As it is in early access I'm excited to see new additions to it, but even as it is now I had quite a bit of fun with it.

With fun and unique weapons and plenty of modifiers to choose from you can customize your way to play each level. But even without putting on a bunch of perks to make the game harder it can be quite difficult at times.

Great fun, excited to see what they add to it.

Fantastic experience. Would love to see what they add as it is pretty bare bones right now

Really fun, but rather hard game. First plays of a "day" are more luck und fiddling around with options than knowledge...don't I will ever finish it. It is kinda repetitive too.

amazing concept and amazing artstyle choices (cell-shading>>>>>>>>>), can't wait for full release!

Thronefall is a diamond in the rough, a hidden gem of a game that may have a small player base currently, but it shows immense promise for future development. This fantasy RPG/Tower Defence has all the ingredients for greatness, look forward to what the developers have in store
