This is technically a very competent game as far as designing missions, gameplay and graphics go. Probably - despite the lack of Michael Ironside (which also resulted in very different Sam Fisher) - one of the games that realizes the content of a Splinter Cell best... but the Ubisoft's utter incompetency with designing network systems and stable games, this is almost unplayable at PC to a point, where you just have to play in offline mode with Direct3D 9 rendering... and this will still crash from time to time anyway. Hence the rating.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is a fun return to form for the series, even if it shakes things up a bit. While it's not quite as hardcore stealth-focused as some older games, the new gadgets and options make for a more flexible playstyle. The Blacklist system adds a cool risk/reward layer, and the missions are full of creative ways to take down enemies. The story isn't the strongest, and some might miss the super-serious tone of the past, but overall, Blacklist is a blast for fans of stealth games and action with a tactical twist.

THIS GAME IS SO AWESOME. Gameplay wise this is one of the best games in the franchise. It is so butter smooth, the level design offers tons of options and ways to access your objectives. And it's one of the first games to allow more runner gunner loud gameplay. Not that Sam fisher should ever be like a Call of Duty character. But having options is welcome.

There is just tons of content here, and the side missions are equally well designed. It is a blast sneaking through areas undetected without killing anyone. But taking them out is still satisfying. I sadly never got the chance to play the co-op missions which I probably would have loved even more.

Obviously, this game not having Michael Ironside is a downside. But the new guy they got, while not sounding like Sam at all, does fine with the material. And in general yes, the writing is just off this time. The story is pretty lackluster. But honestly, I did not feel much about the narrative in the original game or double agent either. This is a series where the gameplay took priority.

This title just holds up really well. The animations, the freedom in playstyle, the level design. It's a great game that I will come back to many times.

Very beginner friendly entry to the franchise. It’s more combat oriented than true stealth which is divisive among fans but I enjoyed it

Played with a friend. Hours and hours of fun. Great game to his age. Last good game from Tom C. made by Ubi (lazy) soft.

gameplay 10/10
missões 8/10
multiplayer 3/10
historia 7/10

The best splinter cell experience you could play.
Even has some multiplayer missions if you have any friends that play it with you :(
Still sad there is no modern splinter cell

I thought Splinter Cell: Blacklist was damn good. While it felt weird hearing somebody else besides Michael Ironside voicing Sam Fisher, I thought Eric Johnson did fine. What I appreciate most about this installment in the franchise was the ability to tackle the missions (or most of them) the way you wanted to. If the series ever makes a return, I do hope that they keep going in that direction. Story was good and the characters served their purpose by helping push the story along. Don't look for any deep character development here but was is here is enjoyable.

simplesmente gold, amo tudo nesse jogo

It's a fine last hurrah to the franchise.
Gameplay is great and voice acting (while at first I didn't like the Sam voice change it grew on me but it'll never surpass Michael Ironside).
Level wise it's insanely great and varied.
Story has a few weird things going but it's minor stuff.
Cast wise everyone is great, Kobin is just eating every scene and to think I used to hate the guy back in Conviction for being a little bitch.
Grim roasting people left and right as she should cuz she a girlboss.
Charlie and Briggs are fine. And Sam is still just the Sam we all know and love.

Pros: a modern splinter cell with good stealth
Cons: og voice actor is gone and sam fisher whole personality feels different, shadows arent as important anymore. Even tho good stealth the stealth is very different from the older games i lowkey prefer the older style of stealth

tirando a missão do avião e as partes do briggs esse jogo é incrível.

Fakat 2010 sonrası Ubi'nin oyunlarındaki o genel "ruhsuzluğu" buram buram alıyordum her taraftan. O yüzden, daha da döner miyim bilmiyorum. Bakacağız.

My friend tortured me to go for PERFECT STEALTH. This means that NOBODY even slightly detects you.
I felt pain at that time.

Nota:
8.5/10

Dude when Leo shot the building and alerted the guards, what a bit. Wish everyone was there to witness it.

Idk why they didn't just make the protagonist a different character, like they could have literally said " yeah Sam's is somewhere, doing what? Idk, spending time with his daughter, maybe? Stop asking questions"

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist is a game with very excellent gameplay, (however I can't say much about this aspect because I only played in stealth, but it has assault mode) and a so-so story, the game has little content beyond of the campaign, but the armor and plane upgrade mechanics

Eu acho q eu gosto mais desse jogo do q eu deveria

The way Ubisoft has treated this series over the years has made be never want another Splinter Cell game to be made again as much as I love the franchise (mainly the first game and Chaos Theory). You can guarantee they'd make an open world like MGSV but with the usual Ubisoft formula cancer.

For the past few releases they turned the game from a stealth shooter to a horrible cover shooter. This game is an attempt to make a bit of a hybrid while trying to get that old Splinter Cell feeling back. It does not work. The missions and stealth design in those missions are worse than the 2002 game.

Over 10 years and in the end they've regressed. It's a sad end to what could've been a fantastic stealth franchise, but I very much doubt that they'll ever be able to capture the feeling of games like Chaos Theory, especially the state Ubisoft is in right now.

Unfortunately this game came up from my backlog at a time when I couldn't be less interested in Splinter Cell going full Jack Ryan
