Pretty much more of the previous game but better in every way. Super happy I got to play both of these, i've always wanted to, even when I was younger. Wish I got to play this when the multiplayer was still a thing, i'm sure that went hard

Honestly, it is just more of the same. Game is no different than Transformers: War for Cybertron. Game is just a mediocre 3rd person shooter. Again, if you are going to play transformers game, try this one out.

Pros.
+ Solid, reliable and straightforward third person shooter mechanics.
+ Air traversal and combat feels superb.
+ Voice cast and performances.
+ Plenty of standout set pieces (Metroplex, Starscream’s haphazard assault on the Autobots, Grimlock Smash, the entire final chapter…)

Cons.
- First few chapters take a little while to become wholly investing.
- Dodging and blocking can feel a little clunky.

Transformers FoC is the direct follow up to War for Cybertron is a step up in almost every way.

If you liked the first game, it's guaranteed you'll love this. FoC takes the foundations that WfC made and just cranks it up. It's another very well made super fun campaign, but with better story, music, gameplay and everything else. It's just bigger in scope.

A super epic campaign that makes you feel like you're part of the Bay movies (in a good way). Every chapter has a moment that will make you Wow.

Gameplay is pretty much the same, but this time there is a weapons vendor and currency, which makes exploring and killing enemies worth it as you're able to purchase and upgrade more weapons - similar to Ratchet and Clank. This is definitely something the first game was lacking.

My only gripe with this game is that now you're forced to play as one selected Transformer for each chapter, as opposed to having the option to select from 3 like the first game. Probably the only big step back I would say this game has. Otherwise, this game is pretty much perfect and I loved everytt single moment of it.

Again, it has the same shame of locking a major part of the game (escalation mode) behind closed servers like WfC. Which provides an endless way to play the game without having to play the campaign over and over again, and doesn't force you to play as any specific character.

A must play for any Transformers fan. (This and the first game desperately need a remaster - you can't buy this anymore).

I've played a couple of Transformers games before this one and haven't been very impressed. It came as a bit of a surprise then that this game is pretty good. Part of the Cybertron series, along with War for Cybertron released a few years earlier, Fall of Cybertron tell the story of.... Well actually I'm not really sure. I'm not a Transformers fan and basically had no idea what was going on in the story. It seemed cool though. The game is a 3rd person shooter, a bit Gears of War esque, with some fun driving sections. It's a fairly short campaign, but its done really well. It has that Micheal Bay action movie style feel, with each section feeling like a really nicely set up action sequence. There are some great set pieces, explosions and effects. It's just the type of silly action fun that you would want from a transformers game. What I enjoyed most was the enemy and weapon variety. Even thought the levels were fairly linear, this variety kept me interested with each weapon feeling unique and useful. It also has a decent level of polish that I didn't expect. Of course it's no Halo or Gears, but it's really well made and feels like a AAA title. The music and sound effects, the great visuals, solid controls and nicely set up tutorial and campaign. Apparently the multiplayer was also excellent back in the day too. A nice little surprise package and a short campaign which I enjoyed quite a bit, a great one to have in the collection.

I would have given this game five stars if you got to play as Grimlock more. That's really the only complaint I have.

One of the best games of all time and probably the best Transformers game you could play! The campaign mode allows you to play as different characters that all feel satisfying to play as, and has an engaging and intense story that shows the impact the war has had on Cybertron. Play this as soon as you can!

A great sequel! Played a ton of this game too.

Вот это ЦАРСКИЙ пиу-пиу!

An amazing transformers game with amazing gameplay (nostalgia bias)

grimlock and metroplex felt underused in the story but besides, the game is really fucking good

I might be rating this one on a bit of a curve since it’s a licensed game based on a franchise I really love, but this is one of my favorite games of the 7th gen. It’s the kind of Transformers game I’d been dreaming of since I was a kid, putting you into the mechanical shoes of the Autobots and Decepticons during the final days of the civil war that devastated Cybertron.

Fall of Cybertron is the best kind of licensed game, one that is elevated by its license instead of feeling shackled to it. It’s a really solid third-person shooter that shows genuine appreciation for Transformers that takes a bit of a darker approach to its narrative while not going overboard with it. The game does a great job making each character you play as feel different, and any shooter that has dash gets extra kudos from me. With excellent level design, great mission variety, and a fun (now defunct) multiplayer suite, I feel comfortable stating that Fall of Cybertron is the best licensed game ever made.

Behind the scenes, High Moon Studios, this game’s developers, were very resistant to the idea of becoming just another licensed game mill, so perhaps they went so hard on Fall of Cybertron to convince their Activision-Blizzard overlords they were worthy of developing original titles. Unfortunately, High Moon would meet a fate worse than being a licensed game mill: Being forced to become yet another support studio on Call of Duty, joining the likes of Raven Software and Vicarious Visions. Yet another case of Activision-Blizzard being an absolute plague on the gaming industry.

holy shit let me re live the last mission of this game

Its graphic is in high quality and looks perfect on the deck.
The controls are smooth and the combat is pretty fun. So many controllable characters and there unique mechanics in a 10-hour epic campaign. Definitely one of the best licensed games.

This game improves on everything the first game set out to do and still holds up as an excellent 360-era third person shooter. You don't need to play the first one to play this one either. Still looks great since there's no human characters to date the game's visuals. Great for fans of Transformers and for fans of Xbox 360-style linear cinematic action games. Makes you really feel like you're Megatron/Starscream/Optimus Prime/Grimlock/etc.

Лучше игру про Трансформеров уже не сделают.

War of cybertron is very good. Fall of Cybertron is excellent.

They took everything that was good about the first one and improved on it in every way. Transformer fan or not, this game should be played by everyone.

eu me divertia ei era massa ó

o melhor jogo de transfomers lançado a sua gameplay é gostosa e muito boa, uma história nivel idw.

The Campaign is absolutely amazing, Escalation is still fun in 2023 and Multiplayer is still kicking good.

Insane how a licensed game ends up being on of the few fps games where the game is a 5/5 for the campaign alone

While FoC is still an average TPS like the first game, they did add a lot more gameplay verity which made it more enjoyable to play. This time you can upgrade your weapons, buy perks, and have a little more control over what weapons you want to use. They took out grenades though, which I really dislike, but made better special ability verity. I enjoyed playing as the larger Transformers too, which have slightly different gameplay mechanics. The story and music are fantastic as well.
