Its alright. controlls do work but are meh and it is basicly more WHAT THE GOLF? but a car, which is fine if youre a fan of the first game but i found it rather tiring after a while since the gimick wears of after one game.

I probably would have stopped playing this game if my kids didn’t enjoy the high-concept levels, and it does hit that same fun silliness as What the Golf? from time to time (though not as often). But I really did not appreciate the controls (my thumb often slid off the corner of the iPad and there’s no way to reposition as far as I could find), and the focus on player-created levels while neat, is not something I’m interested in.

Lastly, the game isn’t really done. After Episode 7, there’s a closed door that says to come back later for more episodes, but I’m not sure when those episodes will come? I probably will not be revisiting this one, unfortunately.

I 100%'d What the Golf? so I thought I would be down for some more of that kind of game. Turns out I was wrong.
If you thought What the Car? would be just like What the Golf? but with a car instead of golfing, well you'd be right. There's not really much to it beyond that. Also, while Golf is arguably better on a phone, I think this game will be a lot better with a controller. Steering an on-screen steering wheel with you finger sucks.

Not as fun or creative as What The Golf?, but still entertaining enough to pass the time during a bowel movement. These lol random physics games lose steam pretty quickly.

I feel like the "LOL SO RANDOM" side started to overtake the "weird but fun to still play" goal.

I wanted to love this game so much - What The Golf is one of the best mobile games I've ever played. This one, while very funny, is brutal to play at times. Levels are longer than in golf which already adds to the frustration of a game meant to be chaotic. The overworld navigation is brutal. The only redeeming factor here is getting to see the silly car animations - and that novelty wears off after the first time.

I was so ready to devour this. It absolutely has improvements over What The Golf but one crown level in world 2 (out of 6) pissed me off so much, that I don’t want to continue anymore. The issues I had with that level were apparent with other levels before. I am starting to feel this is what I should expect from the game and I can’t get down with that.

Positives:
-More polish and effort with the graphics
-More focused gameplay compared to Golf
-The completionist content has been stripped off of filler, this time it’s only finding 1 card and getting gold trophy by beating target times
-Some of the backtracking has been minimised even more than the first, when you start the game you can just press continue to start the last level you were at instead of having to move there

Negatives:
-The physics can be really bad and unpredictable. It feels worse here than with Golf
-I’m seeing more cards placed in really ridiculous spots that are there to waste your time and piss you off. That’s what made me snap with the crown level in world 2

While the negatives are less than the positives, they’re so annoying that it ruins the rest of the experience for me. Maybe it’s less of a problem if you’re not much of completionist and accept the physics to be part of the game. I have always been iffy about games based on physics and don’t want to deal with it again after Golf.

fun! these games are really fun little apple arcade experiences. doesn't quite reach the highs of what the golf to me, but still a fun worthwhile time!

Goofy driving(?) game whose loose controls and occasionally unpredictable physics could sometimes be more frustrating than fun, but overall I enjoyed it for the silliness and constant novelty of seeing what kind of new "car" I'd be asked to drive.
