This is the perfect game and if you havent played it, you already know it's your favorite game and if you hate this game then stop lying to yourself man just stop.

Childhood game, but still something I get urges to play to this day. This stands right along Super Mario 64 to me as a top-notch 3D platformer. What it lacks in Mario's movement options, it makes up for it in the vibrant worlds and colorful characters you encounter. Game Over Grunty especially.

Still can't believe after all the years of playing this game over and over that those two eggs and the ice key were obtainable without having to wait for Banjo-Tooie.

I played this because Banjo was announced for smash and I didn't have any fun with it. Good voices, though.

Hey Mumbo Jumbo is like, EXTREMELY racist, right

SUPER MARIO 64 walked so that BANJO-KAZOOIE could run.

Kinda slow and ugly, but still the best 3D collectathon game... mostly because it actually exercised restraint in how much shit it made the player collect and kept the stages to a reasonable size.

It's still the best 3d collecter, somehow, despite its age getting in the way. Honestly I think the second game has better abilities but the maps in this are better designed.

An exceedingly charming collect-a-thon platformer. Shows its age in some areas but for the most part it holds up extremely well.

Has some aspects that I think have made it age not as gracefully as Mario 64, but still has a style and attitude that I really enjoy. It's unfortunate the sequel to this game was more focused on just making a "bigger" game rather than improving on an incredibly solid base.

really charming collect a thon. one of the best in the genre

Lo he dejado practicamente al 95% en el famoso juego de grutilda. Lo retomare en algun momento no muy lejano por el tema de logros pero sin duda un gran ejemplo de un juego completamente todoterreno mirando claramente en la epoca que salio.

Give me Banjo Threeie you British fucks.

I never grew up with this game and didn't play it until last year, so I can say with confidence this is one of the finest 3D platformers ever made. It's funny, the level design is great, I love it.

banjo kazooie what a fuckin game

level design tighter than the chokehold microsoft is keeping rare in

Banjo Kazooie, like most of Rare's glory day output, is better than it has any right to be. Standing on the shoulders of a particular giant, Banjo Kazooie manages to both clean and dirty Mario 64 at the same time. The results are both stupid and addictive. There is only one feature of Banjo Kazooie for which I will stand my ground enough to argue that it is actually good at least SOMEWHAT on purpose rather than by happy accident, and that's the level design. Each of Banjo Kazooie's worlds is memorable, inventive, compact, and fun to traverse in ways that DK64, Banjo Tooie and Yooka Laylee all would completely fail to reproduce. Technical limitations really can be a godsend.

A very well-made platformer that is up there with Mario 64 in terms of quality. I have minor gripes with it (I wish it were easier to aim eggs), but nothing really major. If you have a Nintendo 64 or Xbox 360, this is a must-buy.

GUH - HUH? Collectathons were defined by THIS GUY RIGHT HERE! I love it so much.

I believe this is the quintessential 3D platformer. It's well designed, easy to control, and a TON of fun. It aged very well too.
The amount of love Rare put into these games is truly apparent wherever you look. So much character and attention to detail, not to mention Grant Kirkhope's AMAZING soundtrack. I could shill this game all day.

It's fun and full of charm, but halfway through it starts to feel past it's welcome. The level design becomes more frustrating than fun, interaction often feels arbitrary or unclear, and mechanics feels needlessly tacked on. This is without mention of the trivia level which must be completed before fighting the final boss. The trivia is overly long, frustrating, and tedious.

No other 3d Platformer since have come to the level of perfectly sized, densely packed level design, personality and variety banjo kazooie has

First game I can remember playing. Quite fond of these two

One of the most charming platformers of its crowded era. Doles out upgrades at a perfect pace, great memorable levels, a fun sense of humor. Loses half a star for a needless trivia-based final level.

Been playing on and off for around a year and some parts are terrible and awful and make me want to throw and destroy parts of my living space, but the rest is perfect. The best platformer on the N64 by far. Tooie is expensive and I don't own an Xbox so I don't know when I'll be able to get to that one. Also the first game I've ever 100%ed.

JUST YOU WAIT UNTIL BANJO-THREEIE

I can not make myself play this game. Put cars in it.
