I’m not saying the games good it’s just a button masher but it’s fun when you just dîck around

I am ashamed to admit that I was excited for this game, as a huge fan of Shonen Jump I had a lot of hope for what Bamco was advertising as their own "Infinity War" but what we got was a bland anime brawler with a lackluster story and a very hit-or-miss graphical style all wrapped in what feels like a very unfinished package. Not recommended.

There's definitely some fun to be had in this game, especially if you are a fan of Shonen Jump. But the gameplay is very shallow and spammy and the story mode is painful due to boring cutscenes, stupid plot developments, and blatantly cheap and unfair AI. It can be enjoyable in small doses though and just being able to use all these iconic characters is enjoyable.

The novelty of seeing Goku and Naruto fight is enough reason to play.

power scalers are why this game exists they are a danger to our world

If by any off chance you find yourself in a conversation where somebody asks "what is an example of Shovelware with a budget?"
Just show them this game lmao.

The Jump Ultimate Stars game is the way you successfully pull of something like this. Why can't the newer titles have a power/progression system, for example abilities tied to manga panels that game had, or worlds that are actually in the titles (instead of the real world). Objectives in fights to unlock stuff instead of the same braindead fighting mission over and over. Why can't they have a bigger selection of titles to choose characters instead of the 6th or 7th dbz or naruto character? Minor characters in assist moves, smash like battles etc. The potential is endless.
A big budget game in this fashion i'm sure would do much better than what jump force is now. I already was disappointed by J stars for similar reasons, but this game does it even worse. This game has a casual western audience in mind (see character choices), and underestimates the popularity of manga and anime also for the lesser known series in the west. This should be a love letter to shounen jump like smash ultimate is to gaming. That's why you should let a creative team with passion for jump make it, not this soulless shit.

Decent customization and the attacks can look really pretty but there's really nothing else going for this game.

fuck you bandai for making this garbage

This game is a fighter in the same way deep dish is considered pizza

Only good when playing casual

The actual combat itself is fun, and there’s a decent selection of anime characters that are playable, but the main issue is the story. Character animations are just really odd looking, and some characters in the story just show up for no reason once and then are never seen again (such as Dio for example.). If you’re looking for a fun arena fighter game, maybe this’ll be fun for you, but if you want a phenomenal story that shows all of your favorite anime characters fighting bad guys together, stay away from this game.

Played mostly for the modding scene but now that it is basically gone there isn't much to do.

So bad I couldn't force myself to continue

Unlike what many people think, I think Jump Force is a lot of fun, and that's enough. When buying jump force, you must have the mentality of those who want a fight of anime characters, and he delivers it, even in the market with games of the same genre and better as the naruto storm saga, Jump force is not so far behind when it comes to entertain. Jump force is a fun fighting game with a bad story and a bad story, but its fanservice holds it well in its genre.

Por mais que esse jogo receba um hate absurdo, eu penso que Jump Force é divertido; e para mim, isso é o suficiente.

The gameplay and combat is fun but the story is boring and it’s animations are laughably bad

Wasted potential once again and need spike to stop

Jump Force is peak waste of potential, and a major step down from J-Stars. I know people hate J-Stars a bit but the interactions between the characters in that game were sooooo fun while here it's just, shit.
Only giving it a 1.5 cuz I played with friends and there it's quite fun actually but otherwise this game is just horrible

Dumb fun, but mainly dumb

I REALLY really wanted to like this game but this shit sucks. Its completely lazy on Bandai's part, alot of broken mechanics, easy spam moves, some of the regular attacks do more than the ultimates, and the story is so shit it rivals a gas station bathroom. Jump just wanted money from weeaboos and hoped people would eat this up. Horrible cashgrab

single player is absolute hell. loading times take forever, animations are non existent, story is dumb, villains suck, framerate is abysmal in cutscenes, and missions are incredibly repetitive.

the only thing that saves this game is the multiplayer is pretty fun. also dio and kaiba are in the game.

I don't know jackshit about anime so going in I only knew like 2 or 3 characters, I thought even though don't know any of the characters maybe I can enjoy the game for its gameplay.
I regret my decision to play this.

Played on PS5

The game itself is bad. Very dull. Do I like playing it? Yes because I’m a dummy who loves crossovers. The story is bad, the various character interactions can be fun, and I honestly love the feeling of certain ultimate moves. Not to mention it’s casual af and I’m a filthy casual when it comes to fighters. Admittedly, in this case, it’s more so a “fighting game.”

I’ve seen complaints of load times but it isn’t that bad on PS5. Either that, or I’m really patient.

All in all, I’m very very forgiving. This game is pure nonsense and the fighting part of it I see people disliking a lot. As someone who has grown up with Shonen Jump/anime/manga since I was 3 when my Bachan introduced it to me in Okinawa, this was kind of cool to see.

Not better than Jump Super/Ultimate Stars in any sense but still fun in its own, very very bad, way.

Uno dei migliori video di Alpharad. Il gioco fa cagà
