Stupidly underrated. Satisfying and stylish 2D indie stealth darling

an absolute train wreck compared to the remaster

Very fun game with a great story. Quite difficult though, I still need to finish it.

story twist was really annoying

Might join Thief 2, Hitman Contracts and Payday 2 on my arbitrary list of noteworthy stealth games even if the amount of platforming make me not like it as much.

2D stealth action gameplay. One of the best indie games out there, the gameplay feels amazing because you get enough information about the enemies and the surroundings to know what to do and not fuck things up. The tools you have at your disposal are varied enough to make for a deep gameplay and a lot of possibilities to deal with the enemies and traverse the levels.
A must play.

Flew under the radar, but its the best 2D stealth game on the market rn

how funny would it have been if his name was Mark

very neat 2d side scrolling game

Why are stealth games about ninjas not common?

It's fun to make guards shit themselves and shoot each other.

I literally started this game on 2017. I feels nice to finally be done with it. Of course, it has been quite a while since I last played, so the ending lost a lot of its potential impact for me. Still, I don't remember ever being particularly invested on the story, and fortunately, the gameplay is good enough to compensate. It's probably the best stealth game I've played, and my only complaint is that it could have used more nonlethal options. Almost all of your possible upgrades are lethal takedowns and gadgets. Pretty recommended

They put all the stealth systems right there in front of you so there's no questions or anything. Just good sneakin'.

just follow my moves
and sneak around
be careful not to make a sound
alerts guards on oopsiedent
"oops don't touch that"
lets self get killed, tries again

Just the right amount of agency against the unforgiving nature of the environment. Mark of the Ninja plays like killing elevated to painting. Neat.

Played this game a lot, it's surprisingly fun.

One of the best stealth games I've ever played, very good

Really cool. Some aspects of it haven't aged as well as others, but it's kind of a classic indie hit that people should play.

Mark of the Ninja gives you lot of different options to tackle a problem however you want, but always gives primary focus to stealth. It hits all the right marks to make it a great stealth game, and even the few flaws that it has can't come close to ruining that. It's a stealth game that's worth playing and that's really the only selling point it needs

Genuinely lit buy I got distracted by other games after upgrading my PC so I didn't stick with it.

This was great stealth game. I liked the mechanics and the art a lot. The story is mostly forgettable, but the twist at the end is surprising. I didn't see that one coming. I didn't like the choice at the end as neither ending felt truly satisfying. Still, this is a great game and I enjoyed playing it.

Ninjer is our word you can say Ninja.

Up there in the likes of my favorite stealth games. Even though it may be a side scroller, it's a bit on the easy side of stealth, the satisfaction and tightness of the controls makes you feel just like a true ninja.

THIS is how you do stealth in games

Klei's magnum opus. Mark of the Ninja is an outstanding 2D stealth platformer. Lots of cool powers and a gorgeous artstyle. Highly recommend.
