What a delightful game! Likable cast of characters and fun writing. My only issue is that during some court segments I would present what I thought was the right piece of evidence dispite the proper answer leading to the same conclusion I had already came up with. Very minor considering you aren't penalized too badly.

The start of a great series. Memorable characters, funny dialogue, and the puzzles aren't too convoluted. While a lot of the writing is funny, the game isn't afraid to go a little bit more serious or emotional either.

I generally prefer a game where I get to press a lot of buttons but the twists and charm (and music!) of this made a lovely change of pace during a period where I was travelling a lot.

please play the trilogy. the kick off to my favourite visual novel series with some of the most rememberable, loveable, and impactful characters. i can’t think of a single case where i wasn’t invested in helping phoenix and his trusty (yet clumsy) sidekick maya crack the mystery of who dun it.

Very epic game, I have no OBJECTIONs haha get it?

The start of a truly great series. As the first Phoenix Wright game, it establishes a lot that the series relies upon and expands upon in the rest of the series. All the cases are solid, and this included the DLC one added years later as one of the longest and most involved cases in the whole series. Edgeworth remains to this day probably the most interesting prosecutor and a staple for the rest of the series. A wonderful introduction to an amazing series

Guys I don't think the murder took place on Christmas.

I think this is the 2nd best Phoenix Wright game in the series. Beaten out only by Trials and Tribulations. If Rise from the Ashes didnt exist, it would probably be my favorite.

(Played via Ace Attorney Trilogy on PS4)
Still a mastapeece. It just gets better with every case. I don't care if Rise from the Ashes is too long, it's the best case with the most intriguing story in the game and many amazing twists. Also both endings (Case 4 and Case 5) gave me the feels just like the first time I played the game.
I have so much love for this game, man. It's amazing characters and their development throughout the game, it's amazing soundtrack and how it perfectly sets the tone to everything that is happening, it's amazing sense of humor that brings numerous hilarious and iconic moments. I think this is a game that everybody should experience, even if you don't like visual novels at least give this a try and I guarantee you're gonna find something about this game that you will like.
Also Edgeworth invented character development.

Really like how silly it can get. Theres no case i disliked since they all have interesting stories. And the likeable characters really help with the fun writing the game has. I do admit there were times when the evidence you had to present didnt go along with my own logic, which caused me to get "stuck". Additionally, some parts of the investigation sections were tedious. Despite some of these minor problems, the overall experience is a fun time with memorable characters and cases.

Outdated autopsy report funny haha.

A great first entry in the series that introduces the player to a cast of wonderful characters tangled in a series of increasingly more complex mysteries. Thanks to a solid collection of episodes and a great balance of comedy and drama, this entry in the series is one of the best.

I'm scared to come back to these games because I honestly think they won't be as good as I remember them being back when I was like 11.

Begins with a really serious case and ends with a very satisfying conclusion in case 4. case 5 is okay

Had a lot of fun with this game despite my lack of brain cells! I especially love this game's charm and wittiness, as well as its cast of characters.

I remember washing my dads car and making him buy me these games

A really good visual novel with great character design, music and the snappiest writing. Despite some silly, obtuse adventure game solutions, the cases are well written, compelling and fun to piece together. I wish traversal was more fun or at least more interesting to look at as in a couple of the later cases it became a bit of a chore selecting ‘Move’ from a menu and a text box to go anywhere, especially as the environments get bigger and more complicated. I’d like this game a lot more if not for the last case, which was added to the DS release and feels very tacked-on. The writing is still good in it but it’s needlessly bloated and could have done with the same care that clearly went into putting the other cases together.
