Well, it's certainly a marked improvement from the last entry, but it's still not quite enough to be worthwhile.

Sniper Elite III takes things from the dreary, war-torn streets of Berlin in the final days of the Second World War back to the North African front in the early 1940s. This change in scenery gives the game a nice, unique look and a visual upgrade from the last one, even in its remastered form.

With these new sandy vistas comes an upgrade in level and game design. Having learned from last time, this third entry, while still very much baked in linear objectives and intent, allows a lot more freedom in its levels this time, giving you several different paths to approach your objective from. These alternate paths also come with optional side objectives that serve no purpose other than granting you some extra XP that goes towards unlocking new weapons or reticles for your rifle.

In conjunction with this new approach to its level design, Sniper Elite III also vastly improves its stealth mechanics, making sneaking an actual viable option now. In fact, it encompassed a good 90% of my playthrough. You now have an eye indicator to show your visibility, as well as a stealth melee prompt and a lot more opportunities to mask your noise.

All of this serves to make the overall Sniper Elite experience a lot more palatable, and yet, I wouldn't say it's enjoyable still. Not to sound picky or anything, but much of the game feels like you're just going through the motions in a very dull way. Perhaps this is down to the continuing issue of the lack of an engaging narrative or purpose for embarking on these missions, or perhaps that the objectives themselves are uninspired.

There's really no one level that stands out in Sniper Elite III; it all just kind of blends together by the end.

Despite this, I did still have a better time with the third entry than I did in V2, and while there are still areas for improvement next time, after everything I've heard about the fourth entry, it sounds like they've once again outdone themselves.

I like that it is more of a proper stealth game than 2 felt most of the time. Africa was a solid setting as well.

A stepping stone for the later Sniper Elite games, this game stumbled forward so the ones who came after could flourish. I think as a whole it's pretty good but it's clear the mission design sorta struggles to keep things fresh after the first true mission (which is also it's most open feeling mission). By the end and the 5th or 6th tank battle you're sorta ready for things to end. I just mostly can't see myself replaying this one, but I enjoyed my time all the same.

X-ray cam never gets old too.

Movement feels stiff, often you cannot prone which is very important in a STEALTH game. It has led to me dying a couple of times. When crawling your character often goes back to crouch. If you want to stealth you have to be very patient, crouching and crawling feel like they move at a snail’s pace. If they made the default walk a bit less noisy it would’ve been better.
Story feels very uninspired, ‘go here kill nazi or grab something’
Voice acting isn’t that great, the main character just feels like a generic hero with a deep voice. No motive at all.

Alert system is weird as shit. Just saw your friend die? Aw mate don’t worry about it cause we know that the sniper is 50 metres away from where he took his shot. Like ??? what.
I had numerous bugs, enemies walking through each other, clipping into objects, etc.

Nitpicks:
Ladder climbing animation doesn’t loop properly, it has a small pause at the end which leaves a jolt in your camera.
Dumb shit like tree leaves and blades of grass have blocked my bullets.
Enemies can get alerted by your footsteps from an underground bunker. ??? there must be at least 5 metres of dirt in between the topside and bunker.
Enemies can see unreasonably far, sometimes through stairs like 2 stories above you.
Sometimes you just can’t fire your gun or there's a long delay to it.

O jogo é legalzinho, porém ultrapassado! É um game bem simples e cru, sem muitas mecânicas e as que não são as básicas como tiro, sniper e finalizar furtivo não são agradável de usar, instalar um mina pra um tanque demora, armar a mina com fio demora, jogar pedra demora, o jogo te exige fazer ações rápidos mas todas ferramentas são lentas, ai é mais fácil e divertido só dar tiro de sniper ou silenciador que por sinal o mira RUIM, atirar com a pistola é um C, mas isso foi pq o jogo bugou e não reconhecia meu mouse em game de nenhuma forma, tive que jogar no controle ai já viu, bastante estresse...
Joguei no modo sniper elite e o game me exigiu muita paciência, tendo paciência não é um game difícil porém se for ser rambo pode ser meio frustrante, a mira é ruim, mas n é difícil teu boneco aguenta muita bala ai não tem punição, falo boneco pq joguei a dois dias atrás e já não lembro do nome do protagonista de tão oda-se que é a história, que é Metal Gear vibes sem desenvolvimento algum, destrua a maquina ultra poderosa com personagens esquecíveis com um protagonista que é o PIKA com uma voz irada e o carisma de uma porta.
Depois de finalizar o 3 abri o 4 pra olhar e a evolução é brusca talvez seja melhor ir direto pro 4, mais ai vai de pessoa pra pessoa. Mas teve alguns momentos bem divertidos antes de se tornar massante, como paguei 10 reais valeu a pena.

I started this series with the 4th game and it was fantastic.

Going back to 3 I noticed how improved 4 was however I've got to say I enjoyed the locations and missions more in 3 at the time of finishing.

I may have to go back and play 4 as I do prefer 4 overall but 3 was really a special game the story was kinda whatever but the locations music and gameplay were all really fun.

Na minha opinião, esse jogo é um exemplo perfeito de jogo mediano. A história é bem sem graça (não sei se alguém realmente se envolveu com o enredo desse jogo), o jogo é lento (vou explicar) e apesar da porra do nome ser 'sniper elite', o jogo te força a usar o stealth pra não se fuder bonito ou pelo menos não se frustrar.

Quando eu digo que o jogo é lento, eu quero dizer que a maioria das ações que você faz são demoradas. Desde plantar uma bomba a recarregar uma arma. Tudo demora pra ser executado e isso pode acabar frustrando (foi o meu caso).

O jogo é curto, completei ele em 9 horas, pois eu sou incompetente, mas a duração média do jogo (sem DLC) é de 4 a 5 horas. Ainda assim, mesmo sendo um jogo curto, eu rapidamente fiquei entediado e frustrado com a demora que o protagonista tem pra fazer quase tudo.

Outra coisa chata é a questão do stealth. Eu sei que faz parte do trabalho de um sniper agir com furtividade, mas se o nome do jogo é 'Sniper Elite', então o mínimo seria permitir o jogador a usar e abusar do rifle de precisão e dar os famosos tiros com slow motion e x-ray característicos da franquia. Inclusive, eu vi alguém comentar uma frase que definiu minha gameplay e a de muitos com certeza nesse jogo (para meu desprazer): esse jogo deveria se chamar 'Welrod Elite', pois o tanto de vezes que você pode precisar recorrer à essa arma pra resolver os problemas com furtividade não é brincadeira.

Isso parece até Dishonored (jogo que eu amo e é um dos meus jogos favoritos): as melhores mecânicas do jogo pertencem a jogabilidade de Alto-Caos (matar todo mundo e, de preferência, sendo visto). Porém, esse jogo obriga o jogador a ser stealth e poupar os inimigos, fazendo o jogador perder toda a alta gama de possibilidades e dopamina que só uma gameplay Alto-Caos proporciona.

Isso também acontece (mais ou menos) com Sniper Elite III. Se você optar por usar o rifle ao invés de outras armas silenciosas e o stealth, talvez você sofra com a jogabilidade. Usar o rifle de sniper é muito bacana e funciona bem, mas usar as outras armas é uma outra história. É tudo muito estranho, parece mal feito e difícil de controlar (não deveria ser assim, esse jogo não é um Hell Let Loose da vida).

Outra coisa que me deixou bem desanimado foi a história do jogo. Ela simplesmente não me empolgou, nem no começo. Eu basicamente só via os objetivos da missão, fazia, ia embora, e pulava a cutscene, pois a história me foi muito entediante.

O protagonista é o tal fodão mestre das snipadas, mas que tem dificuldade pra usar outras armas que não sejam rifles de precisão. O maluco tem uma voz foda de protagonista brabo de filme de ação, mas tem um carisma tão grande quanto o de uma lagartixa morta. Até o Doomguy, que não fala nos jogos do Doom tem mais carisma que o protagonista de Sniper Elite III (que até hoje nem sei o nome dele).

Enfim, achei esse jogo interessante no começo, pois eu joguei ele sem conhecer nada da franquia a não ser os x-rays e slow motions dos tiros de sniper. Eu nem joguei o Sniper Elite 1 e V2. Porém, já na missão 2 eu comecei a ficar entediado, e depois foi só ladeira abaixo.

Jogar com o rifle é bastante divertido, mas de resto é chato e mal feito. Espero que os próximos jogos sejam mais divertidos que o 3°.

Üstüme aniden bir silah sıkma isteği geldi ama multiplayer oyunlarla giderilemeyecek bir istekti. Ben de ne yapayım ne yapayım , şu anki pc'm Far Cry'ın diğer oyununu felan da kaldırmıyor , dedim ki gideyim bi sniper oyunu oynayayım zaten işim yok gücüm yok. İyi ki de yokmuş çünkü işsiz güçsüz adamsan bu oyuna zaman harcamamalısın. Çünkü biraz üzücü olabilir ama oyun iyi değil. Benim gibi arada gelen bir istekle oynamadığın sürece oyunu sevmene imkan yok anladım ben bunu. Zaten gerçeklik dışı bir oyun. Elemanın dibinden sıkıyorum sniper'la sırf yanda minik bi makine çalıştı diye diğerleri duymuyor ya da nerede olduğumu anlamıyor. Elemanın yanında adamı öldürüyorum , 2dk bir gaza geliyor diyor ki " Lan , ölü bir adam kesin düşman var." sonrasında ne oluyorsa şöyle diyor galiba "Bu adam galiba kahrından ölmüş düşman falan yoktur." sonra oyun devam ediyor. Hikaye desen oynadığım derinliği en az hikayeydi galiba. Ayıp olmasın diye koymuşlar. Oynanış desen klasik Sniper oyunu. Oyunun tek artısı X-Ray Bullet Cam koymuşlar oyunu oynanır kılan tek sebep ise bu.

Kısacası ani bir gazla ve yeni bilgisayarımı beklerken aldığım bir oyun oldu. Ben öneriyorum ama çok isteksiz öneriyorum. Bence yıl olmuş 2023 bir insan bu oyunu oynamamalı. 🥉🅑🅡🅞🅝🅩🥉
