Melhor Jogo de luta que eu já joguei em questão de pura diversão.

For me, the main appeal of SC3 was the single-player war game. It is a fun mix of strategy and fighting where you go back and forth between making moves on a board and then jumping into a 1v1 fight to finish things. Played it SOOO many times over and over again.

A couple of things about this game and discussions around this game confuse me.

1 being, why was this an exclusive? Why wasn't this game on Xbox and GC like the previous one was? Why was the lack of guest characters such a big deal for people? It's not like Soul Calibur had cemented it's Identity as a fighter yet, I remember people acting like the lack of guest characters was egregious, we were only 2 games in the series at this point tho! What level of consistency was really achieved for us to flip out about that one aspect.

While I say all of that I will also admit I am a hypocrite and wonder myself: why didn't this game have guest characters?

This is an alright game, combat and movement are still fluid but it felt a lil slower than the previous game. Music also isn't as memorable as the second. Also with me growing up with the Xbox version of SC2 and then with this being a PS2 exclusive it visually isn't as good looking as the previous entry as well.

Most people I talk to who really enjoy this game love it for the campaign mode and the character creation but that's not what I play the series for, I play it for fighting aspect. It's just a overall OK game in that sense for me

This was "Peak performance Soul Calibur". Great game, a complete experience for real. Great graphics, great soundtrack, good character roster and tons of game modes. This game was very well made, i would even dare say "crafted" because is so complete, like you do not even see today. Great game, amazing experience on PS2

A PS2-exclusive after the previous game came out on the three big systems of that generation, it ruffled some feathers, but is probably my favorite entry in the franchise. Varied roster, several game modes, and visually pushing the PS2 to its furthest limits.

Me trae buenos recuerdos al ser de los primeros juegos de lucha que probé en su momento para Ps2

A pretty fun game overall with a plethora of content. Apparently it's super glitchy and imbalanced, which isn't really a problem considering you won't be playing multiplayer, but because of this I'm obligated to dock it some points. Still I'd say it's worth playing.

So much content, different modes and unlockable stuff.

o fechor nos jogo de luta com zero conteúdo

Soulcalibur IV was a game I grew up with, so heading into III I was curious if it would be any better. Now I gotta play IV again and see how it holds up. SC III is the bee's knees of 3D fighters.

Zasalamel was such a cool new character they had to balance things out by also introducing Kira, one of the worst they’ve ever made.

(Aesthetically, I mean. Narratively. I’m not a professional gamer, I don’t know what damn-ass tiers they are)

The Soul Calibur that Setsuka debuted in. I'm biased because mama is inspired by Yuki Kashima from one of my favorite films Lady Snowblood. There's an Arcade Edition that balances the roster and fleshes out the gameplay, but the vanilla version is pretty good on its own casually.

um dos melhores jogos de luta que existiu
hype absurdo persoangens mt pica story mode mt divertido

I have no idea why indie devs haven't tried to copy the chronicles of the sword mode. A strategy-fighting game combo with custom characters is a genius idea.

It'll never be SoulCalibur II but it made up for it with a plethora of very meaty single-player modes, not to mention the now-famous character creator. One of the better console fighters of its era. Cool newcomers, too.

Great cast of fighters with fun-as-hell gameplay. I am no expert on SoulCalibur but this game has aged great.

There are a bunch of unique movesets for your custom character. You don't have to be a clone of a main cast member. 10/10

Really liked the oc's story. Lots of fun

This game's weird adventure mode where you play with custom characters on a big strategic map is a lot of fun.

A shame it wasnt on Gamecube cause I would have loved this growing up, just as much as I did 2. Great game.

I used to love these in the Arcade and used to watch YouTube vids of them casually but was bummed they weren't on the consoles I owed.

O meu jogo de luta predileto.

I remember a ex-friend introduced me to these games back in 2012 I wound up buying this game and the second game as well, I didn't get any sleep that day because I was engrossed with the Tales of Souls, also take great joy in being a Kilik main as one my more recent replays of this game I forgot how amusing the Turntable missions where.

And I may or may not have ringed myself out a few times, which was also left me laughing too.

I hope whoever came up with the Turntable mission got a raise.

Played the absolute shit out of this game on the ps2, arguably one if not THE best consoles ever. Kid me couldn't understand why the characters didn't bleed when seemingly cut in half by a scythe
