Great JRPG but some things hold it back for me. Story started strong, but got worse as it went on. Without going into spoilers, lots of plot points that had me scratching my head. Way too many unfun, generic sidequests too.

A former child actor in my high school told me that he had 4 copies of this game, and that I can have one of them. It took him like a month, but eventually he gave me a copy before classes one day when the game was still like $80. I don't know if he was lying or what, but I got a copy of Xenoblade when that was a really big deal and I was pumped. I then proceeded to play it and it absolutely floored me. I wonder if he really did have 4 copies, or just lied because he wanted me to be his friend or something.

The dub for this is fantastic. The story is good, and the whole idea for the setting is cool. Combat is very MMO-y which is fine. Environments are also very MMO-y, which makes many areas huge and impressive, but also means a whole lot of walking which may not jive with some people. Sidequests, unfortunately, are EXTREMELY MMO-y, and not in a good way. It is very rare for me to completely ignore sidequests in any game, but man, I noped out of these so fast. There are a million, billion sidequests, and frankly they all suck. Like, really suck. Just play the main story, you'll find more than enough good content there.

Has the title of my favourite j-rpg! I dunno, just love most things about it!

Overrated trash. MMORPG-tier combat, bad history and the game becomes a grindfest when you get to the second battle with Gadolt.
Don't play it.

one of the best jrpgs in recent memory, has some of the best world building ive seen in a game

Quest design and combat is more dated than Hewy Lewis and the News.
Story is the bomb though.

Fantastic Game! Peak RPG! Amazing start to a so far gold standard franchise!

Sex definitive edition exists now sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Fun gameplay, not really attached to any of the characters though and the side quests are a real slog.

One day I hope to get the Switch version and actually finish this game, but for now I can say that it was a lot of fun until I hit a wall where I needed to grind and just didn't feel like doing it. The characters and world were fun and fascinating, and I really do want to see how the story ends someday.

Xenoblade Chronicles is my absolute favorite game of all time. Everything from the Characters, Music and the Landscapes, are beautifully made. Honestly words can not describe this game. Play this game if you can, you will not regret it

Boring and het, a losing combination.

I can't wait to sit down and play the remaster of this. Regardless of whether you liked the voices for the Wii game, from a design perspective, THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE A GREAT GAME AND STORY.

This is most favorite game, if you think "should i play this game" my answer to you yes do it now play it pls, such a good beutiful game even on wii

It's really good but It's also really difficult

Uno de los mejores JRPG que he jugado. Es un juego mágico, con una gran historia, un mundo fascinante y una de las mejores OST jamás hechas.

Shulk is so cool I wish I was like him

wonderful, touching, heartfelt story of hope against all odds that is relevant now more than ever

Such a fantastic title, a definite must-play in the Wii's library and I'm glad it's gained quite a large fanbase as time has progressed. I want to say more but worry I might spoil something.

One of the best JRPGs ever made. I struggle to find examples that measure up to this.

While not my personal favorite, Xenoblade Chronicles is probably the best game I have ever played. Don't feel like writing all the good parts of this game, just play it :3

A great JRPG with a great cast of characters that (mostly) offer great and differing gameplay styles, as well as an enjoyable story. The side content can be kind of daunting to go through without a guide, but you'll be more than fine just going through the game's main quests.

One of the most beautiful games ever, it’s just a masterpiece that makes me glad to be an RPG fan.

Got to about the three-quarters mark until the definitive edition was announced and the Wii officially became obsolete. Looking to playing it on switch as I had a lot of fun.
