I haven't been able to find the fun in this game, after the addictive nature of growing your empire loses it's novelty. On the default difficulty, I feel like I move forward like water, taking the easiest seeming choices without strategic consideration, until I get bored or win. This lack of organic learning through play makes me feel under prepared, and uninterested, in trying higher difficulties or the multiplayer. I'll try other entries someday.
Eh... Civilization 6 is a medicore game at best. It does nothing different from any other strategy game and feels a bit janky to control. Also, it might just be because I was playing on the switch, but MY GOD the loading screens are so long. Civilization 6 is a medicore strategy game that dosent do anything special... just play a different stratergy game cough age of empires.
Very similar to Civilization 5: wide as a sea, shallow as a puddle, or whatever the saying is. Decent fun, especially if you like playing 4X's with friends, but if you want a particularly deep experience—economic management, tactical warfare, complicated diplomacy—there are other games that'll scratch your itch. Don't drink water when you really want beer.
