super fofo e gostosinho de jogar. tava precisando de algo simples e rapidinho e esse serviu direitinho pro momento!

Honestly I'm not the biggest Kirby fan but I figured I'd finish this one. There's really not a whole lot to it. It's a short and sweet game and that's what it was trying to set out to do, but I feel like there's better Kirby games you could settle for.

It has charm and good music but it's incredibly short, the controls are kinda trash, and Kirb without his copy ability is just blasphemous. Appreciate it for paving the way but it's a hard skip in <current year>.

Enjoyable but rather forgettable with some frustrating controls. There are much better Gameboy games.

Kirby has always been a very welcoming series for both new and veteran gamers, But the first kirby game has a very high level of difficulty compared to the rest in the series.

Not something for me, but if you like a challenge, go for it. Also this was before Kirby had the copy ability!

A wonderful audio video package that's still a treat to listen to. Kirby's powers are fun relative to other platformers of the time, but it's obvious they hadnt quite figured out his thing yet.

bem rapidinho e divertido

I love that Kirby wasn't even given the personality of "happy" in this game, he just spends every cutscene going "=|"

I don't know if it was part of the original version or it was just a Virtual Console glitch, but either way it was a legit masterstroke to stop the music for a second every time King Dedede fell on his fat fucking face in the final boss battle

Fun little game just massacring everything in sight.
Neat

Está bien, pero si es demasiado corto para mi gusto. Y ya que no está la mecanica de absorcion de poderes, hace que sea un plataformas corto y entretenido. Sin mas.

decent enough proof of concept, but nothing to really sink your teeth into. the only kirby game that makes you feel like you're actually playing something made for children specifically. i was excited to play the more difficult 2nd loop, but it didn't really change things up that much. probably the worst mainline kirby game next to squeak squad.

Fun but only a few stages - Kirby's Adventure was a huge upgrade

Cute little game, with surprisinly clean movement and its crazy to see the amount of character that you can squeeze into gameboy sprites. Kirby's dances at the end of levels give me life.

Biggest "flaw" is how short the game is and how easy it can be (even if I did cheese the game by using continues), but for me this instead makes it a nice game to pop in and beat in an hour, without necessarily having to deal with the annoyance that other gameboy games like Mario Land instill by booting you back to the start with their life system.

it's the first kirby game and they did pretty well! it really makes you appreciate copy abilities in every kirby game that comes after just like sonic 1 and its lack of a spindash

A short but fun little adventure. Great to see where Kirby started, and it is definitely a great foundation for the franchise.

It’s actually not a bad game. The controls got some getting used to because I kept wanting to play it like a Super Mario Bros. game. The thing is, I have no patience with it’s semi-non linear level structure. I don’t know where I’m going, and I kept dying because I would float instead of jump and vise versa. I’m glad I dabbled with the first entry and tried it, but it’s just not for me. I’ll just watch the full 22-minute gameplay video on YouTube and call it a day. I have a feeling I won’t much like the 2D Kirby games. Might skip to the 3D ones.

adoravel e fofa bolinha rosa luta contra bestas malignas enviadas do inferno

extra mode makes the game pretty spicy; otherwise this is default kirby without the new stuff the sequels have going for them but it's pretty fun by itself

easily one of my top 3 kirby's dream land games

Kirby’s first game. It’s a very quick but fun one.

Nowadays it's kinda weird to play a kirby game without the ability copy mechanic. But so it forces the game to actually depent even more on good level-design, encounter design and pure platforming. And for a starter of the series it still holds up pretty well and presents a roughly 30 minutes long journey of happy and pure jump 'n' run enjoyment. It even has some replay-value cuz of the extra mode.
