decent enough proof of concept, but nothing to really sink your teeth into. the only kirby game that makes you feel like you're actually playing something made for children specifically. i was excited to play the more difficult 2nd loop, but it didn't really change things up that much. probably the worst mainline kirby game next to squeak squad.
The game that kicked off one of my fav series and my comfort series, and it surprisingly holds up pretty well. It’s really stripped back and on a tiny screen, but it’s still a fun short time from start to finish. Figured I’d post this now since it’s the two year anniversary of Masahiro Sakurai‘s tragic passing. Thank you for the brilliant games, rest in peace legend, 1970 - 2022.
