It's alright, fair for their first remake in the new engine. It can be unnecessarily frustrating at times. But Mr. X was genuinely terrifying on my first playthrough.

Para ser alguien que se ríe jugando y viendo cosas de terror, este juego logró asustarme en repetidas ocasiones. Tuve un bug en el que no me dio un key item al inicio del juego y terminó en estar atascado por un rato antes de poder continuar con la historia, de resto me pareció un juego hermoso. Estuve en tensión por sonidos, vibe y jugabilidad (este fue mi primer resident así que no estaba acostumbrado a nada de esto). Tras jugarlo, comprendo porqué tanta gente es fan de esta saga

До выхода Resident Evil 2 Remake я не считал себя фанатом серии — теперь считаю дни до выхода ремейка третьей части.
Best horror game I've ever played
Even though I'm not a big fan of horror, this game really gave me a new appreciation for the genre.
This is the only remake they needed to do.

The atmosphere and puzzles make this game truly special. There are rare times when I am truly immersed in a game, and the halls of the R.C.P.D. were one of those times.
This was the first RE game I have completed and I can see why people praise this game a lot. I've played bits and pieces of different RE games over the years but never stuck with them. The way this game guides you to areas with random jump scares and the combat was just awesome. It's motivated me enough to at least play through the next few titles in the series.
