I hate platforming and i hate puzzles so you can see why i hate zelda.

A reinvention that loses just as much as it gains, but that doesn't mean it isn't excellent.

One of my favourite open world's, great enemies, Great storytelling amazing atmosphere. Only complaint is subsequent playthroughs can be a drag

One of the best games I’ve played . Open world is a bit empty but the vibes are there. Music and world are the highlight def.

This game means more to me than any other game. It is my favorite game of all time, with TotK being a close second. I would fight Mike Tyson if he said he didn't like this game.

I just finished this today after about two years of abandonment. I'm not sure what compelled me to pick my switch back up a couple of days ago and finally finish this (I had taken down three out of four Divine Beasts), but I am really glad I did. even though I was slightly out of the loop from the story, I was brought back into Link and Zelda's world immediately, and became addicted just as much as I was prior. I love this game. the music was beyond phenomenal, especially during the final fight with Ganon. I could play this for hours and not complete a single quest. it was one of those open world games that was neverending. I'll probably play for a bit longer even after my main objective was completed, just for the fun of it. I hope TOTK is just as good, if not better, than this

Decent game but honestly I can't really see why people love it sm. It never resonated with me. I have played like 4 TLOZ games and this is by far my least favorite. I just find everything so overwhelming like yes you have a GIANT map yes there's tons of shrines yes there´s lots of (written) dialogue but again, it's just overwhelming cause everything just feels bland and you get bored after a while. Around the 15-hour long streak of playing I was like "hmm absolutely this isn't for me" but I was so close to pass the game I was like "meh what is 5 hours more"? And even the finale feels anticlimatic and doesn't reward you as exponentially as you work your way to get there.

I just enjoyed the shrines and the divine beasts a.k.a the dungeons (a.k.a teh essence of the series). In total I had fun like 3 hours. I enjoyed the soundtrack too and the art direction. I won't replay this.

Juegazo pero prefiero los Zelda clásicos

Yeah the boss fights and story kind of blow, but the world is all that I care about. I loved exploring this world and too this day I can jump on the master cycle and ride around an have fun, even after 200 plus hours.

I spent 5 years completing this game and I loved every second of it. A full reinvention of what it means to be a Zelda game, and it nails every second of it.

Special games don't come along too often. Breath of the Wild is a special game. Developers cannot recreate the perfect storm that created this game. This game expresses mastery in the craft of making a game. It combines the expertly crafted puzzle solving Nintendo have crafted for the Zelda series, with a breathtaking visual style, dropping you into a beautiful sandbox to adventure through. Breath of the Wild is a special game that brings back the "Adventure" in an "Action Adventure" genre that has been sorely missing.

To this day, I keep hearing about things that I didn't find while playing. Kinda crazy

Really boring! After the initial hype of having a whole new system and the novelty of playing this game portably I realized just how empty the world is and how much it drags on. Weapon degradation is maddening, combat encounters are not rewarding, and the dungeons are too simple.

My first ever experience with a Zelda after hearing about them since forever but never getting the chance to try them. And this game, granted it's a highly acclaimed one, was a unique experience that i'll be able to look back to for the longest.

BOTW is a game that took the world by storm and was seen to revolutionise how open world games were viewed back when it released and throughout the tens of hours I poured playing this game I can tell how many amazing ideas and concepts were incorporated within it, while still feeling that this game lacks on some departments.

The open world experience offers total freedom to the player with exploring given the structure of this game's progression allowing for many approaches for not only the world, but also different shrine puzzles and even divine beasts. Additionally, the world having distinct areas around each regions alongside other gimmicks (korok seeds etc..) further enriches the exploration.

Divine beasts have some of the fun and in depth puzzles i've played in a game without any of them being boring or annoying to me, while simultaneously having different approaches from the other ones and are definitely the highlight of this game.

But while this game has all these amazing designs and ideas, it still lacked some aspects that started bothering me the more I played. While the game's open world is massive for the most part, there were many times in which I felt it started getting repetitive with what i'm getting or what i'm aiming for (most of the times it boiled down to just finding shrines) and the lack of enemy variety, whether it be normal recycled enemies or bosses, kept on ruining just how immersed I was with the game's combat.

Overall after playing this game I can definitely see what it did for open world games back when it released and while it did show its age for me when playing after 7 years of release, I really loved this game and was really satisfied with how unique it was in many aspects of it.

Open worlds great but story and dungeons are sad and depressing.

Très bon jeu (c'est sûr) mais je n'accroche tout simplement pas. Je n'arrive pas à jouer plusieurs heures sans m'ennuyer.

There’s nothing left to say about it.

There's probably plenty of good things about this game, but I could not get over the incredibly flimsy nature of the equipment, or the puzzle sections.

Sorry Link, you're on your own for this one.

I first got my hands on this game at my uncle's house. Played a bit of it until my uncle said I can take it home and finish it. It took me a long time to defeat the final boss. It took a long time for me to come around because of the RPG mechanics and I am not used to it. Also, there is a lot of exploration needed to play this game properly and defeat the game. It took a long time for me to get used to the controls and by the end, I was able to defeat multiple bosses and get all the equipment I needed. I loved the fact that it is a non-linear game and you could just go for the final boss right at the start of the game. I did need a lot of help from my friend to find certain things like the Master Sword. I recommend it to everyone and definitely an essential on the Switch.
