Little robot boi searching for his robot gal in a gorgeous hand-drawn game with no dialogue.

A very neat, artistically beautiful little point and click about dingy little robots in a dingy little world.

SO good. The game with the absolutely best riddles ever. The main character is just lovable. Must-play game.

I finally finished a long-forgotten mission and It brought back so many childhood memories for me
and after all these years, Berta still has a place in my heart...

ALSO! That bastard in the bar with his fucking annoying laugh, he REALLY knows how to play tic-tac-toe xD

A super charming and adorable point & click adventure game made in the classic vein. It doesn't do anything to evolve the genre, nor does it aspire to, but for what it is Machinarium is a game with top notch presentation, a reasonable level in puzzle difficulty and a campaign that doesn't outstay its welcome. The very definition of 'reliable'.

A charming steampunk aesthetic paired with a cute story makes for quite the lovely adventure experience.

I don't really like Puzzle games, the only puzzle game that I enjoyed playing was Portal 2. I knew about Machinarium for a long time, but didn't really play it I only loved to just listen to the ost. Now I can say that Machinarium is one of the best puzzle games with Portal 2!

The OST is very good, level/map design is also decent. The way that the puzzle work is interesting and fun to figure out how to solve them. It sometimes can be tedious and irritating, but that's just like 1-2 times I have experienced that. The "Lore" if you'd call it that is funny and I laugh whenever I remember the Robot's flashbacks with the other Robots.
There's mini games too. the most notable and rememberable for me is the Connect game with that fucking robot I pray for his downfall every time I remember him. THE MF NEVER TOUCHES GRASS ONLY TRYHARDING ON CONNECT FFS.

I recommend to play it with a friend (stream it on discord or invite them to watch on Steam) and try to solve them together, you'll have so much fun.

Fun game, I recommend it even if you were not in the point and click puzzle solving games. Trust me I too don't love them, but this game is an exception!

Machinarium is a charming point and click puzzle solving game akin to the old LucasArts games. The art style is absolutely stunning and it runs at a smooth framerate. Game aside, I would love to see an animated film revolving around this game’s plot with the same animation style.

In Machinarium you control a robot starting out at a junkyard, as you progress you slowly reveal his intentions and what got him to the junkyard in the first place. Along the way you will solve puzzles and collect items to unlock your progression. Some of the puzzles take a short time to learn but a long time to master. The game does offer an inbuilt guide however you need to complete a mini game just to open it up. I couldn’t even complete the minigame.

I have no shame in admitting the puzzles in this game were above my intellect level so I used a YouTube walkthrough for most of the puzzles. I’d much rather go through this game at a nice pace and have fond memories of it than I would rage quit the game out of frustration and only remember the bad things about it.

Machinarium had been on my backlog for the past 10 years or so and I’m finally glad I got to play it and complete it. It’s a beautiful, well animated and well detailed game with sweet interactions with the other robots. It’s just a shame this game isn’t completely accessible for everyone due to the very hard puzzles.
