i liked it, but like many others, i got to the plot twist too quickly, and then spent about an hour clicking on meaningless videos and trying to figure out if there was anything else there. nevertheless, the format of this "game" is very fascinating, and the plot, although simple, is creepy and interesting. i will definitely check out telling lies!!

Surprisingly enjoyed this. I wish it had better ways to arrange the videos. My only issue with the story is that what it's implying is very unbelievable. I feel like my personal theory that has less evidence is actually more probable. Very interested in his other games now.
Excellent. Kind of a perfect little object. The way the story unfolds through non-linear database investigation, the aesthetics of old computer interfaces, the strange and unreal nature of the story itself, and the incredible performance at the center of it all. A slam dunk.
i won't say that i was impressed by the plot (the more you think about it, the more it becomes like a cheesy lifetime thriller), but the mechanic made this game a wonderful experience. two hours of research and theories that are likely to be more interesting than the real twist? yes, sir!
It is what it is and if it was anything else it probably wouldn't be this interesting, good, or revealing.

I liked it but I found the important clips VERY early so I clicked on pointless videos for a long time and then the final text thing happened. Cool concept but the mystery isn’t mind blowing and that’s kind of its main drawing point. I had the situation figured out for the most part but a few things were quite confusing. Overall a fine game but nothing great. Appreciate the innovation though.

Her Story is a great experience. Your progression in the game is not barred whatsoever, and while some people have criticized it being too easy, I would say that’s not a criticism. In my opinion, while the mechanics of the game are innovative, the real draw is how easily the game sucks you into its narrative and characters. All of which, mind you, is exclusively told by a single individual who is also your typical unreliable narrator. Despite this, you are drawn to the main characters, their back stories, and eventual fates. Ultimately, while I do wish there was something a little more to Her Story, it really is a phenomenal game.

What a weird narrative experience. Extremely worth it but probably wouldn't play it again. I don't like the developers other again (Telling lies) either.
This one though. Just the simple concept of putting words in a database and seeing what you can find to figure out the story and mysteries is really fun. Made me feel smart. Not a lot of games do that.
