i like the qol features like the quest management and the graphical improvements. the other changes are dumb like making the bosses have big eyes and have them dumbed down. despite it, its still a decent way to play it.

As a kid I ADORED the eshop trailers but I didn't have enough money to buy it, until eventually I got my hands on it and was amazed by the emotional and touching side stories.

Although I had to use a guide throughout every part of the game, and I won't revisit this title because of that

This "remake" made some pretty unnecessary changes which can definitely be restored with the restoration patch. Finished with only 3 hearts, collected all masks, fairies and items.

The Zora dungeon on the moon was bull@*#^. I didn't recall Majora's Wrath's reach being that annoying on the Nintendo 64.

Even if timer mechanic is a huge turn off, I would at least recommend giving it a shot.

Stick to the original if you're can't stomach this version without the patch.

I have yet to play the original, which I plan on doing soon, but this is my second favorite Zelda game, it's phenomenal. It has a totally unique atmosphere, setting, gameplay loop, and it's all so much fun. It has the best side quests in the series too.
